We need to return to a nation of laws. I do not believe that all Democrats h**e the Constitution just like I do not believe that all Republicans are for the Constitution. For if it was true, then it would be easier to charge these people with treason.

The NRA is not going to be dissolved due to the fact that the NY Attorney General does not have the power to do so. In fact as long as the NRA follows the law, the Government is prohibited from shutting it down. It's called 1st and 2nd amendments. As long as the NRA doesn't turn into B*M or Antifi, the government cannot shut them down nor can the government restrict them.

Now the NRA will stand up to government tyrants and those tyrants do not want that to happen.

We need to return to a nation of laws. I do not be... (show quote)

They can try and the target has to spend all manner of money defending it. There is NO penalty for the government. Look at what's going on in St. Louis! They can do it to anyone & there are no constraints.

In LA Law, there was a story arc where Abby was having a lot of a lot of success defending drug dealers. She became worried but Sifuentes, who did criminal defense, assured her that they were what stood in the way of a police state, which is certainly true. Unfortunately, the government doesn’t se it that way. He told her to make sure all her Ts were crossed and her Is dotted because, they’d come after her, which is exactly what happened.

Do not dismiss this as Hollywood because I know of a case where precisely the same thing has happened before that story arc. One attorney was having so much success defending organized crime figures that the government set him up. They wired a guy and sent him into the attorney’s office as an ostensible client. The lawyer answered one question in an equivocal manner and they took it to a grand jury and got an indictment.

(I believe a first grand jury declined to indict but I am not sure of this.)

The government took him to trial and the jury went 11-1 for acquittal. They tried him again and he was acquitted, which was fin but just think of all the money it cost the man for just doing his job.

Police regularly use drug addicts and perverts as informants. We had an AG in Rhode Island would indict anyone for anything based upon anyone’s statements. The old joke about indicting a ham sandwich is not far from the t***h.

It costs the government officials who do it nothing!

This lawsuit against NRA is politically motivated and could backfire against Democrats big time!! Supporters of 2nd Amendment are not gonna take this lying down and this could be what President Trump need to win ree******n ! Dissolving NRA especially at this time when crime is up 110%across America is the stupidest thing to do in my opinion!!

Possibly. But only if the NRA members don't mind paying for LaPierre's Bahama vacations, $13.5 million in travel consultant fees, and make-up and hair dressers for LaPierre's wife.
Face it: the NRA for years has been corruption writ large.

Do you have any facts to support this allegation? Or, are you just voicing your highly prejudiced opinion?

Meanwhile, back at the raunch (no misspelling), it's positively amazing how massive corrupion by Democrats like the Bidens, Clintons ,etc, who have used their elected office positions as vehicles for their corrupt practices, to boot receive no mention whatsoever where their blatantly criminal acts go, don't receive so much as a "humph!" of indignation from your ilk. Apparently in your world, different levels of behavior are good for the goose and gander.

This doesn't even take into account the veracity or lack thereof of the NY AG's allegations.

The Clintons and Obamas have just about everyone in the past beaten in corruption. And don't forget Planned Parenthood claiming women's health to bilk the government out of billions for slaughtering babies.

If the government is not going to protect the people then by default the people must protect the people. Therefore weapons are necessary.

The government has to protect the people. It is their duty. No document can be enforced without a person taking up arms to enforce it.

I agree completely and I'm a NRA life member with plenty of weapons. Mike

In the context of PR's question about FPSRussia, the FPS stands for First Person Shooter - referring of course to computer games like Call of Duty.
