Would you please explain why this bothers you? I am not criticizing, but I would like to understand. When I was young, in the 60s, mixed races were highly frowned on. We have come a long way, and made a lot of progress. R****m, I believe, is a form of tribalism, and it is natural and normal in humans. That does not make it right. Most things that we believe are right and acceptable are learned behavior, and goes against our natural inclinations. Most r****ts have, for wh**ever reason, NOT learned that r****m is evil. I kind of resent hollywood taking it upon themselves to 'educate' Americans, but I have to admit that showing mixed couples on programs and in commercials helps make it more acceptable in society, which is a good thing. So, why does it bother you?

Randy, for me it isn't so much the content of the commercials it is the quantity. Darn near every commercial has some mix relationship in it. Don't know what it is like in your neighborhood but i have moved my share quite a few times in my 70 years and if there are 2 mixed relationships in any neighborhood i have lived in that would be a lot. It is like being told that this mixed stuff is all that is going on. So until that is true i really don't need to see it.

Now for the gay crap, whole new ballgame. To each their own is my thinking but why do i need to see any gay or lesbian sex action to make the story interesting.

Acceptable a good thing? Not for me!!!!!!!

Ok, I see your point. Thank you for clarifying it for me. You don't care for it being force fed to us, and I agree. However, I do want to say that I have had a number of mixed couple friends over the years, and I see nothing wrong with those marriages. And I do think it is a good thing that it is acceptable nowaday. As far as the gay stuff is concerned, I do not care to see it myself. I do not judge, nor criticize, nor impose my Christian beliefs, but I do say that God's Word clearly indicates that it is a sinful life style, and I stand on God's side with all things. His universe, His rules.

I have been around q***rs my whole life.
They have been friends and relatives.
None of them have ever tried to impose their sexual orientation on me.
Most of the q***r boys have now died from their “condition”.
However, in today’s world, they’re being shoved with or without their consent, into the society as being normal!
They may have been happier in the closet. That’s not true, the normal part, according to God.
As, far as skin color, who cares who is with who. I don’t!

It does, and to be honest, sometimes it can be fun, especially with a few that are totally out of it! But I do feel sorry for some of them. There are a couple that I truly feel are mentally disabled, and I pray for them. The reason I joined OPP was for some civilized discussion between reasonable people, even when we disagree. How else can we learn and grow?

Randy, if you are into fishing or want some entertainment come on over to fishingstage.com. You will see some other folks from here. The chit chat section can go of topic in a heart beat, but the political talk is lucky to be nearly 1%. Folks that want that topic will either be totally ignored or asked to drop it because politics we refer to here.

The format of the site is the same as here and getting around really easy.
