Yeppers; Bass Reeves the original lone-ranger, was a Federal Marshal after the 'civil war'...He rode throughout Eastern Oklahoma, West Arkansas and North Texas...I actually copied one of his tricks years ago...Handing out silver to new customers...Word got around quick and I grew a huge customer base

Bottom line here. That was then and this is now. No matter who was at fault at a time when that's the way it was why should any generation pay for the way it was?
