What is WRONG with this world?!?!
I would certainly like a pro virginity until marriage approach to sex education, but as I understand it, the pro-virginity programs are actually much like what I described, they do include the facts of reproduction but they do not celebrate casual sex and they do advocate waiting until marriage to make love.Casual sex is not making love. So far I have not seen nasty comments from the left about not including GLSEN d*****t instruction in any sex education class. I am waiting for it.
Did some research on the great H****r Thompson and from what I could find out it appears he was one of the "free thinking" homosexual pederasts that left is in love with.

You do realize Obama dropped all funding for abstinence education in his last signed budget deal. So even though the teenage pregnancy rate has dropped like a bomb over the last 10 years partly due to availability of birth control and partly due to abstinence education, you do not need to worry it's not funded anymore anyway. It will be interesting to see if the teenage pregnancy rate goes back up or if it stays the same.
Even I learned something from my teenage daughters abstinence education sex ed workbooks they brought home from public school a few years ago. Do you know there are over 15 STD's out there, but men are only affected by about 7? The rest of them they never know they have and just spread around. HPV is one. "Trich" (microscopic amebas) is another. Men can have either of these STD's for years and NEVER know. A typical STD screen for men doesn't even test for these diseases, because the results are so inaccurate in men as to be ineffective. So even if a man gets STD screened, he may very well have the STD's but "think" he's clean.
Then the woman goes for a PAP smear and all hell breaks loose.
I think that is a good education for young students, but what do I know? Apparently "safe sex" (the kind of sex ed taught in the 90's, when the teen pregnancy rate skyrocketed), is all our teenagers need to know.

I will research. All of this is a result of satan's influence and his very nature.
I'm still reading the two books ya'all sent. I am usually a fast reader, but I have to slow down when reading these. When done, I will have questions!!
We are truly facing what is leading up to the rapture and rise of the antichrist.
Prayer is a must.
I did some casual research on your roll model H****r Thompson. Apparently he was a drunk and a stoner, who, according to one source had a couple of underage boy "lovers". I would not ever brag about admiring anything that man said, but it does very well explain your frame of reference to all you post. That's good to know.

I'm an Independent, but this is one area I disagree with liberals. Bush was a bad president, but one of the better things he did was start abstinence education in our public schools. What happened? Teenage pregnancy dropped dramatically. However, liberals must be blind to this even though the proof is staring them in the face with cold, hard, numbers. Obama dismissed the education as "useless" and defunded it.
I don't see where you are getting "right-wing propaganda" out of stupid people sharing inaccurate information. These people are NOT teaching the facts, and facts are the foundation of Conservatism.
Abstinence- based sex education is only "nonsense" for people who do not like the t***h of it - and using Bristol Palin's comment... wow, now, that's an opinion that carries the weight of the world. Should we teach our children that "murdering and lying are really okay, because, you know, some people are going to murder and lie?" Of course not!
I am a Christian Conservative and taught my sons abstinence before marriage, but not through "scare tactics and bullying." They remain virgins because THEY want to be their wives' first, and vice versa. In the Teens in Montana article, T.M. Holewinski is foolish and has no basis in fact for her "information," but that does not mean other Conservatives agree with, or belive, her false statements. And, nothing in CPC literature is innacurate - at least, not what I read - however, in society's sad, mad rush to make the g****rs equal and sex just biological, young men and women are being brought up on lies which shortchange their masculinity and femininity.
And, as for the "needs of the LBGT community?" There is no place for this in schools where tax dollars are concerned.
Sex education should take place in the home, parents being the first teachers; schools should ONLY be teaching biology and human reproduction as pertains to helth and science.

Just because Progressives have control in our schools now, does not mean they can't lose it. Parents who want the right and best education for their children need to stand up and say, "No more!" We must counter every live, every deceit, every disingenuios statement with the t***h, and never stop rebutting the lies.
sex iz a part of life that has been brought to new lows since 'the summer of love.' no right-winger (maybe some exceptions) has ever condoned the demoralization of the gift of sex like what has happened since the summer of love. you call it propaganda...i call it 'laws of morality.'

The "progressives" have had control of the education of our children since shortly after WWII, using a Marxist Stalinist concept of slowly brainwashing the masses to make them better subjects. You might want to go back several pages of threads to two threads on the subject, one by Old Roy and one by Rock Knutne (I think that is how he is spelling it) Both have Common Core in the title.
