Liesner, did you reach the last part of the post? Read it here.. Also would do you well to go back and read the comments. They are on the original post..

Nevertheless, it looks like conservatives will have a new reason to challenge Republicans in primaries in years to come. Plus, Goodlatte just told the world that the reasons Republicans have been using to refuse to compromise with President Obama have been a complete and utter waste of time for six years. Republican lawmakers lied directly to the American people and slandered the good name of our commander-in-chief during a time of war while using taxpayer dollars to fund investigations of supposed crimes that never actually happened. Republicans may not be impeaching President Obama, but they should damn well impeach themselves.

Is there really a book, by Saul Alinski with rules, or did you just make that up? And who exactly is this Saul Alinski anyways?

Have you addressed the lies you printed about my post yet? Or are you going to lead people on that you're not a liar? What other lies have you been spreading? I'm sure there are many. Come clean and admit you're a liar.

I found your exact quote

" Although Wallace was a Democrat he had basically broken away from the Democratic Party, because of the Civil Rights Act of 1964."

He was a Dem governor till 1987. Broke away my ass.

Bruce give it up. You are no match for me son

You haven't totally destroyed anything, except your brain cells. Answer the question, have you told the world what a liar you are? Confess, you're nothing more than a liar.

Typical Conservative response, show me where I have lied. I have shown where you have lied. And now, in desperation, you feel a need to retaliate. No one can trust what you say, because you're a proven liar.

Bruce you are embarrassing yourself trying to play a childish game with semantics. Grow up. You know what you said and you know it was wrong. Are you an adult?

You are a typical brainwashed liberal. Unable to admit when wrong. And you probably will continue to parrot the same lie about the South going solidly GOP after the 1964 Civil Rights Act regardless of the evidence because you are a liberal.

Really the only embarrassment here, is you. Your continual denial of the t***h, that you lied, furthers the erosion of your credibility, as if you had any to begin with. I realize that now that you have been exposed, as a liar, there is nothing to do except to continue to deny what everyone can plainly see. Thus you embarrass your self every time you post.

first I thought you were just stupid. Now I see you are a dishonest person. it amazes me that you would lie on a forum so blatantly and play some game over semantics. Its childish and ignorant. I lied about nothing. I stand by my statement. Your statement below is a lie. Not mine

"Although Wallace was a Democrat he had basically broken away from the Democratic Party, because of the Civil Rights Act of 1964."

This is your statement and it is a LIE. Wallace was a Dem till he died.

Your continual deflection of the fact that you lied, just makes it worse every time you post. Do I continually need to remind you that you posted a lie. I never posted, anywhere, that Wallace became and "Independent". Now let's be real, and realize I'm giving you a huge break here, I can possibly see where you think I implied that Wallace may have left the Democratic Party. I never said that, what I said was that "basically" he had left the Democratic Party. By which I meant, ideologically he had left the Democratic Party. Hell he ran as a "Third Party" candidate for President, in 1968. If that's not leaving the Democratic Party, at least ideologically, then I don't know what is. But let's say for argument's sake that you read my post and you felt that I said Wallace had left the Democratic Party. In this scenario, I would have been "wrong" in my statement that Wallace had left the Democratic Party. Realize I never said that, but for argument's sake let's say I was "wrong" in my statement. That is completely different than what you did, which was to "LIE". We can often be wrong about things, because we have misinformation or we assume the wrong things, about a situation, but that is a far cry from deliberately and willfully "Lying" about something. If your weak ego needs to think that I was "wrong", about my posts, then sobeit. But there is absolutely no getting around the fact that you "LIED", about my post. Had you admitted this up front it probably would have been a dead issue, by now. But you chose to do what any good little Conservative would do, you doubled down on the "LIE". We see Conservatives do this on a regular basis. They can not admit they were wrong or that they had lied, and you're no different.

Ok do you support your statement or not?

" Wallace basically left the Dem Party after the Civil Rights Act of 1964"?

Yes or No? Do you still support YOUR statement?

------
Wallace ran for president 4 times; 3 as a Democrat and once on The Independent Party ticket, in 1968. As governor, he remained a Democrat.

In the late 1970's, Wallace announced he was a "born-again Christian" and apologized to the African-American people for his stands on segregation, saying he had been wrong and asked for their forgiveness. Afterward, he appointed more African-Americans to state government positions than any previous governor.

So, one could say that if Wallace ran for the Presidency as an Independent, at that time, he did break away from the Dems. But, that's stretching it a bit.

Which would be true had he not remained an elected Dem for another 18 years. I think there are those who actually break with a party over ideology like Bernie Sanders or those who do it for one e******n as an e******n strategy.
