If the immigration process is not completed, the citizenship of the bastard child should be withdrawn.

The Courts and/or Congress need to clarify this issue. Right now, the children born here to foreign diplomats and their staff are not given birthright citizenship. Maybe we need a case to be brought to the Supreme Court challenging birthright citizenship give to children born to i*****l a***ns and tourists. There is no problem with it granted in the case of legal residents whether the parents are currently citizens or not.

I didn't think this would be so hard to explain. People who enter the country legally and who have not overstayed their visa or committed a felony, are eligible to apply for citizenship. People who have entered the country ILLEGALLY have committed a crime by violating our border and are, technically and legally, not really here, so they cannot apply for citizenship. In addition there is the moral reason that tens of thousands of people who have applied to come here legally have undergone a process that usually takes many years before they can become citizens and those who came here yesterday illegally do not have the right to jump in front of those legally applying for citizenship.

WHAT BASTARD?? A child of two married parents is NOT a Bastard. Most Spanish people believe in Marriage BEFORE BABIES. So those DACA kids are NOT necessarily Bastards, and I object to you calling them that just because they are DACA!!!

I know all of that. BUT those kids did not come here ILLEGALLY. They were FORCED here by their Parents, so they never knew better till they grew up. Someone said they could not become LEGAL by APPLYING for Citizenship themselves, and I don't understand WHY!!
You keep explaining the SAME THING, but I am not asking the SAME QUESTION!!!

We do play that way, it's human nature.
Opp is kind of like school without the lockers and lunch room. We roam the halls and take classes when we want to be schooled. We fight, we love, and like school we never get laid, but we form lasting relationships. You are an A student.

It is quite a stretch to declare they were FORCED here by their parents; they went willingly with their parents as all children do. You say those kids didn't come here illegally but they did not come legally (i.e. they are in the country illegally and not eligible to apply for citizenship). When they reached the age of 18 they became responsible for their illegal status and their failure at that point to return to the country within which they are legal citizens caused their status at that point to become illegal, still not able to apply for citizenship unless the laws are changed.

That has nothing to to with being a resident alien. A resident alien is someone legally in the country not on a path to citizenship, i.e. someone here on a work visa. Congress has failed to act on the birthright citizenship and the Supreme Court has not ruled on it either. The best thing would be for Congress to pass an i*********n l*w establishing what situations qualify for the birthright citizenship. Currently the children of diplomats do not get citizenship even if they were born in the United States. That should be extended to any children born to foreign nationals in the United States. That would put an end to the problem of 'anchor babies' born to i*****l a***ns and the birth tourism used primarily by the Chinese.

Kickaha,

I addressed to Abel, not you. If you have issues with me personally, let it all hang out, no?
