I love Ribeye steaks, but it’s been a few years that I haven’t been able to find a good tasting one, I’ve used to go the C*****r Barrel, and other restaurants before and it was the delicious beef I’ve always remembered. Since a few years, I can see, smell and taste the difference. I think we’re exporting the amber waves of grain fed US beef to other countries for the G*******t to marvel over and importing substandard low grade fed beef, like from Mexico is my guess.

When this WuFlu lockdown shut down the borders, all the Texas beef restaurants jumped up the price, I wonder if this is proof that prices reflect greed of profit on imported beef then having to purchase bonifide American beef which is more expensive due to our standard of living. Somethings up.

I believe that you can mail order rib-eye steaks from costco that is graded prime. You may want to try that if you don't have a Costco or a Sam's club in your neighborhood.

Can't guarantee it as t***h today but have read. Oil companies make 5 cents a gallon on gasoline and the tax folks score nineteen.

A nickel profit on every gallon, sounds kinda low because there are some years when I was paying attention they posted record profits just like the airlines business. I remember in 2001 it was .85 cents per gallon and were making a bundle, but yes the government has their dirty fingers in everybody's pie.

Thanks, I'll look into it. Still going to look into small slaughter house's as a source.

Check out OMAHA STEAK. If there's not a local store near you you can find them online. Fantastic steaks plus a variety of seafood and prepared meals shipped to your door. I watch for the 50% off sales and sometimes even up to 70% and stock up.

I had one a few years back and the compressor relay got stuck and spoiled all my meats, still haven’t replaced it, but have been thinking about it since we’re in kind of uncertain times, if I could find those ribeyes, I would buy $200.00 worth of USDA Angus beef, to start. Gotta find it first. 🤠

Check out Omaha Steak online. Terrific steaks shipped to your door, also seafood and deserts.

I'll look into it also, but I do want bonifide American beef because Brazil (I think) meat company has been operating here in the US and ill doing have been going on. I gather beef from higher up in the USA still have quality meats but here by the border its not what it appears. Thanks again.

Costco and Sam's club have prime beef and I buy my steaks at Sam's club and the New York Steipa are always well marbelized and have a wonderful flavor and they are tender as well. It has been a number of years since I have been to Costcos for anything but they did have prime beef in the past.

Couldn’t convince me to move over there, too many crooked politicians. I don’t think the citizens are that uninformed, I think they’ve been stealing e******ns all this time but those people chose to ignore it.

USDA choice versus value cuts, I know which most would pick.

The value cuts are usually cuts of beef from Brazil and Mexico and countries similar to that. The beef is usually not corn fed beef and tasted like it as well.

I would guess at 18.00$ a pound for Ribeye, here at Walmart it’s at 14$ lbs. still going to go on line for “my beef”.
