Sounds delicious and what do you cook to go with that steak? My late wife and I loved baked potatoes and acorn squash with butter and brown sugar in it. Or a salad and baked potato with butter and sour cream. That seemed to make any steak taste better. I always grilled the steaks outside on the grill though only cooked them in the pan when it was below zero outside.

My wife cooks all the rest, smashed potatoes, w/ sautéed buttered green beans in garlic sauce, are just one of her day of the week menu items. But I cook all steaks. It's her kitchen, I tried to install a dishwasher for her and she wouldn't have it. the only automatic dishwasher we have are our Doberman Pinchers, which never sanitize the plates to food service standards. When we have a BBQ outside, she tries to take over, I tell her, the kitchen inside is your area, My outside grill is mine, so don't try to horn in on my grilling'.
