Reality !!
Members of Congress work fewer than half of the days in any given year, but those account for only "legislative days," defined as an official meeting of the legislative body to do the people's business. The House works about two days a week and the Senate works a little more than that, according to federal records...

You've probably heard the phrase "do-nothing Congress" at least once in your life, and it's often a jab at the inability of lawmakers to reach common ground and pass important spending bills. Sometimes it's a reference to how little Congress appears to work, especially in light of the $174,000 base salary for its members—more than three times the amount of money the median U.S. household earns!!!

Pretty piss poor given the amount of money they’re giving to include the benefits they get along with all their lobbyists and sell off of our country to the highest bidders!!

Well you know what people do when they're bored. They get into mischief. They have way too much time on their hands. I hope many of them get to make small rocks out of large rocks.

Not all of us....

Some of us drop thirty pounds, learn a few new sk**ls, and get in touch with long lost friends

Aerobics it’s a normal course for me I’ve done it for so long it’s automatic. Taught it for a couple of years and lost interest because it became work rather than pleasure or relaxation. I do weights but not heavy weights I’m looking for toning not muscle mass so I’ll do typically 20 reps I have five or 10 pounds depending whether it’s my arms or legs I’m working with at that moment. My favorite that was hiking in the mountains you got a great overall work out along with great fresh air and you’ll see so many different things and never lose interest. Did you lose track of the time but that’s OK.

The Rockies are absolutely phenomenal along with all the mineral Springs Available. Yes they actually do work and are fabulous to enjoy.. I don’t care how long I’ve traveled them there is always so much more to see.

I usually lift for endurance.... Have a four week ladder..Decrease reps as I increase weight... Start at twenty reps... Next week fifteen... Then ten.. Then five.... Don't think I've ever managed three sets of five..

Hiking is awesome... May hit me hard.. Most of them trails are closed and I missed the May holiday fishing trip with the family...

My wife has me doing this Korean aerobics routine... About forty minutes.. But with three pound dumbbells it really k**ls my shoulders... Good because I haven't swum in five months

Still all good for us no matter how much or how little. Between dancing and hiking I got a lot of work out so if I miss a day of aerobics I don’t really feel all that guilty. LOL LOL

I hear you on the 3 pound dumbbells I’m very familiar with what they can do especially if you haven’t used them in a couple of weeks. It’s like starting all over again...

Exactly

I can still dead lift 200 pounds... Even with recovering from last fall's elbow injury... But a half hour with those suckers has my shoulders on fire... Love it

I have the opposite problem, too much to do, too little time! Need more time to watch the birds, particularly the hummingbirds, need more time to play with the dogs, and sit and enjoy the deer wandering through the yard, don't seem to have enough time to scratch the toads under their chins. Foolish things like laundry, cooking and canning split pea soup and spagetti sauce seem to get in the way. Oh well, there is always tomorrow.

How is your neighbor doing?. Tell her she is in our prayers.

You live a busy life that has built in pleasures. As described here...Very smart but I do worry of you doing too much.. You never seem to do “ for you” which I know is because your pleasures are derived from helping everyone else...❤️✨

Kathy is having difficult days right now... She hung the picture right on her wall entering her home but in her sight when sitting on the couch, in her living room..

She tells me her cancer is now in her lung and beginning to enter her stomach..inoperable with maybe up to a year??? Such a hideous disease it is!! I saw a medical company delivering oxygen to her home about a week ago now.. Like a slap of deep reality there, SW~~😢 Such a beautiful soul she has and “ accepts” her outcome saying, it is what it is and a part of the living process..

It brought yet again awareness to our need to live life to its fullest...
