Look fellas, it ain't as Pete says "all about the wallet".
Everyone ain't like y'all who don't have to worry about your wallet are. People are need to keep roofs over their heads, food in their kids' bellies, try and salvage the small business that they poured their lives into in hope of a brighter future. Are there risks? Sure!!
But at the end of the day, a lot of people feel that the risk is worth it in order to have some security, and the dignity that comes from work.

It isn't selfish at all in my opinion. Many people choose not to cower in terror over something that might, or might not happen. If, and that's the big one. IF people act responsibly, things will be fine, I think.

We all have a choice. We can choose to take the risk, or not. If you're that afraid of this thing, stay home, don't go near anyone. Have everything delivered, and sanitize it when it arrives.
We don't all have that luxury, so people need to work.

And as I recall Sir, you once excoriated me for being one of the ones making this worse because of my attitude.

I'll have you know that if we could just stay home, we would happily do it, but we can't because what we do is 'essential'.

I'm a mail carrier, and my wife delivers pharmaceuticals, and medical supplies. We go to work, and come home. One of us at a time goes to the store when needed. Our hands are hammered from constantly using sanitizer on them.
We haven't seen our children, or grandchildren since March. We have 2 new 'littles' in the family, one of which we've only seen on a screen. It sucks, but we will continue to do this for as long as it takes for this to pass. There are many like us out here.

You guys want to pigeon hole everyone into groups, but it ain't that way in real life.

Give people their freedom back, and if it fails, it fails, and we'll learn from it.
