We tried private roads in the state's early history, but it didn't work. Sometimes there are public services that are so important, or which cannot be run at a profit by a private company, that they have to be taken over by government. That has to be decided by the v**ers at town meeting, or by the legislature for larger services.

I know Bernie, as his son took chemistry with me when I taught at Burlington High.
>>>This is just to easy. A public school teacher. Pushing socialism. That is what real Americans complain about with you public school teachers as an evil. Indoctrinating our children on a failed ideology. Evident that you didn't teach logic.
Actually we do a lot of socialist stuff in Vermont. In our little rural township we have public roads, run by the selectmen,
>>>I have been to almost every state in the Union. And guess what? They all have open roads run by the government. When some indoctrinated Socialist falls to that argument you know he has no argument. It is to silly to even argue that point as to whether it is socialist, or not, or just a necessity in order to function. But I will note that very often these party and/or government entities that manage these roads do so at personal profit via kickbacks from road builders and other levels of mismanagement, which almost any logical thinker has seen, in both Republican and Democrat areas.
and public schools run by the school board,
>>>Where the teachers indoctrinate our children in failed ideologies like Socialism, the precursor of C*******m. That is why in a heavily dominated Democratic City like where I live. parents are begging for School Choice vouchers, and Charter schools so they can get their kids out of failing public schools, and private schools flourish. Where those that can afford it, send their kids for a better education, and in effect paying twice, private tuition to educate their own kids and taxes to hopefully educate some of the others. And the public schools indoctrinate the kids in a failed ideology like Socialism and Progressivism. And of course the public school unions will all to frequently hold the kids hostage demanding higher wages for less work while saying it is for the kids.
but bigger towns and cities have even more such services.
>>>And screw them up even more. This is not about services, but controls. I've seen these same services handled by religious organizations, for less money, but better results and shut down by bull s**t rules from the States and Cities and pushed by Democrats as they push for more control.
I feel sorry for Vermont and ts people that would wish to be free, having to support Democrat Socialists, C*******ts, like Bernie because of the indoctrination of the masses by public school teachers.
Logically Right
