Of course he can be re-elected if the economy is still in the tank because reasonable and clear thinking folks know he was responsible for a booming economy before the p******c that caused the tanking economy. We believe he can get it chugging smoothly again. We also have faith and knowledge in the economic disaster electing your Marxist Progressive party to power would cause.

They are saying that opening things up, lifting stay at home orders can take the country right back to numbers that were on the do nothing side of estimates. Jumping the gun on this makes the hard work already done worth next to nothing.

Trump could be doing a massive push on every military, state, private, and federal lab that can do tests to be doing them. Then we can open up as we have substantially more testing.

And why would anyone trust Trump's "best people" when they are Hannity and the FOX crew and Mnuchin, Kushner, and Barr? He will not listen to any infectious disease experts in the world on this.

The experts model, had it been accurate at the outset, holding off For a lengthy period of time on the restart of the economy would have made good sense. But now that the model has morphed to where it is now which indicates it is not that severe. As such, the experts must go back to the drawing board and revise the duration of the lockdown.

The experts have to admit they were extremely off in their projections of the cases and the deaths. The experts were correct on social distancing. The experts are correct on the need for testing as well but the scope of the testing also must be modified.

The need for testing all the population must also be changed to a need to test a portion of the population, those with symptoms, those essentials who were not in lockdown and those who were treated and other select groups.

Eventually all Americans must re-enter free society to work and live their lives while we still adhere to safe practices and CDC guidelines. There will be some exposure, there will be some new cases, there will be some approved treatments there will be some cured, there will be some deaths, there will eventually be a v*****e.

We don’t stop driving cars so people won’t die in car accidents. Makes no sense whatsoever. We will have to move back to a full restart of the economy, but in a measured way.

No Shinola Sherlock. That is why the President is incentivized to get this crisis behind him. Although Obama did well with a bad economy, but he could blame everything on George W. Bush.

So saving American lives isn't incentive enough for Trump? And if Obama did so well why did you cons criticize his handling of the economy every day he was in office?

Or the death rate is lower than projections because of the success of measures put in place--measures that you cons resisted from the first day they were suggested.

No offense, but I want Trump to listen and take the docs seriously. Even if my age isn't taken into account, I have an incredibly c*********d i****e s****m. I don't want to end up a statistic of the p******c because people quit listening to the docs out there. My governor is a physician and a military vet to boot. I listen intently to what he has to say and take his warnings to heart.

" So saving American lives isn't incentive enough for Trump? "

We cannot remain shut down for very much longer. I realize that economics is not ever a strong point with you Liberals so you will just have to trust me on this. President Trump and Governors like the governor of Texas are looking to release Americans from house arrest. It will be done in cooperation with those " Experts " that you worship. However, those " Experts " have proven that they are not infallible. They make mistakes.

If your Mighty Hero the Great and Powerful Obama was proposing a gradual, rolling reopening I bet you would be singing his praises.

This crisis will not be over until Americans are back to work. As a President in an e******n year President Trump is what you want. That is an elected politician with the incentive to get things back to normal quickly. If he relaxes the lockdown and thousands then die, that will not get the job done. So he will do it in the safest way he can, but he cannot just sit back as you would advise him for 18 months while the whole country turns to crap.

I do hear you, but I think a doctor or two are going overboard. Dr. F***i thinks he is a Little Napoleon. I like Dr. Oz. I thought he was just a T.V. clown until this exposed him. I don't know what to think of Dr. Burx. Her husband was a hack for Clinton, so maybe that is why I don't know if she is real. Apparently President Trump thinks she is real. I do think President Trump needs to listen to the Doctors and also listen to his gut instincts. President Trump is between a "rock and a hard place". I really like the Surgeon General. I believe his name is Adams.

Trump has not set a date to restart the economy. He has expressed his desire to do this as soon as the experts deem possible. He has also said it would be phased in as areas are deemed ready. He knows there are areas that where not hit hard and can come back quicker. Some areas will have passed their peaks and will be ready to start back. And there are others that will take longer.

==================
We are very lucky that when this C****av***s hit our country, president Trump is in charge. Otherwise, with a democrat president like Clinton, or Obama, we could be counting body bags in millions of people. At the same time, our economy down to the drain, nobody could work. When people are desperate and without food and essential supplies, violence and all kinds of mayhem could happen in society.

Fortunately president Trump knows what he is doing. His leadership coordinating the medical team, and all the nationwide support and cooperation of the people. He was able to control and minimize the casualties of this v***s compared to other countries.

In fact, none in the democrat party could handle this v***s better than president Trump. I predict by end of April, many companies could go back and continue their business activities to supply the needs of people.

Trump is faced with a damned if you do and damned if you don’t decision on the restart of the economy. Both the life’s and live’s of the American people are at stake! He will be chastised for opening the economy too soon or too late. The main stream media know he is in a virtual lose lose situation and will try to capitalize on it. They will parade the victim’s families on their TV news networks.

Personally, I want to see the economy restarting on May 1. Although I am high risk due to my age and heart condition, I am willing to put my support out there in favor of the restart for the good of the other citizens in this country. If I end up in a body bag, so be it.

When the green light goes on, it will be a caution light for me. I have learned a lot about how to protect myself from the CDC guidelines and will abide by them through the end of the year or until a v*****e is discovered.

Do not be afraid to die, just get yourself right with your Creator and your Savior and you will have nothing to fear.

Just a thought, but you do not have to resume wh**ever you were doing before the sky is falling v***s. No law says you can not continue to self quarantine, or you must stop washing your hands, or that you can not continue social distancing, or wearing those so fashionable masks (citizens of China wear them daily). There is no reason for you to change what you are doing now just because our nation begins the path to recovery. So, exactly how would you end up a statistic?
