Did you really defend that right for people all those years? Why hell yes you did and should be proud of it. Have you seen anything about that group called MFRR working with some in the Pentagon to take away the religious rights of our military people?
Try this little thing to see the man who runs the MFRR at work.

You got up a long time before I did, but then being retired for over 26 years has led me to some bad habits.

I have been pretty proud of finding out about Mikey Weinstein and allowing others to know about him. Talk about a h**er, he is one of the worst I know of and many leaners here had never heard of him.

You are so right.

Your words reminded me about hearing Pete Hegseth on TV with Megyn Kelly today. I remembered his name immediately and knew that he and I think alike about government. Do you know who he is. He is the CEO of Concerned Veterans.

Yes I know who he is. I am involved w/wounded warriors as well. Just returned to Co. from New Mexico. I live in Co. Afraid the New England libs have moved here and are doing as much damage here as they did back east. Next stop Utah, which is where I am originally from.

From seeing some of the laws that the libs in Colorado have been passing lately I believe that I would stay in Utah once I escaped the newest of the blue states.

No kidding. I think they are all smoking too much pot. The new gun laws are NUTS. I live in Pueblo County and the sheriff says he will not enforce them. What has happened to us? This is not the same country as when I joined the Marines way back in 66'. I understand that now we no longer have master bedrooms--now owners something or other. Jesus it has gotten crazy.

Naw, shooter, left leaners who enforce PC seem to think that master's suite sounds too r****t. When will we lose that word from out legal words? It has been suggested by Bill O'Reilly that they will have to use owner's suite to keep from being r****t.

The gun laws in Colorado have become so bad that I wonder how many people will hunt with even a shotgun there.

In 2006 I made phone calls for a young woman in Colorado Springs who was a Democrat and told me that she didn't really have a chance since the old fart in the seat had been there so long and was, after all, a Republican. I wouldn't do that now but did then. The place has just become the hiding place of New England progressives it seems.

I just don't think I could stand it out there and it isn't much more than 150 miles for me. Hang in there and hope to make it.

Hey Roy,
Enjoy talking with you. Yu give me a different perspective on the subject even though we are going to the same place. Me:the fierce urgency of now. 30 years now, not going to leave me.
you:the luxury of being able to look at the same situation with the most precious of assets--TIME
We are looking at the same "ISSUE" from 2 diametrically opposite views.
This is great. If only we could get some of the dem's or wh**ever to just sit the eff down and let's just talk this s**t out.
It is really pretty easy if we can TALK to each other.
One too many vodka's here Roy--yes, yes, I drink adult beverages..I know, going straight to hell.
Sleep in Peace--there are strong men armed who will let no harm come to you.
Oh--the west is in danger of becoming the east.

I sure see us talking about the same things with different words now and then. I only had 3 years in the Army in the mid-50s and loved every damned minute of it. Two of the years were in Europe (Germany and Italy) spent spying on the Iron Curtain military communications. It was illegal work but they were doing it to us in the early Cold War so we did it back. I would have stayed if they didn't have their stupid rules about not staying over seas more than 3 years at a time. I loved the job but didn't want to come back to train others to take my place.

I recently bought a cap with the patch of the ASA on it with the words Cold War Veteran below it and Army Security Agency above it. An old buddy says he has met many of our kind of people from wearing his.

I do not drink anything stronger than Dr. Pepper but I used to take some down when in Europe. I stopped smoking cigarettes 33 years ago when I married my present wife. Of course, old emphysema got me. My dad smoked from 12 to 92 and died from emphysema.

We can keep at it as long as we don't get too irate. Sometimes I forget who I am writing to and then slip up a bit.

Good morning OR,
Hey as they say.."it ain't illegal if you don't get caught." I would guess that that could be interesting (spying). I have never smoked and thankful I didn't.
You asked a very good question about hunting in Co. If you read the law should you come here to hunt elk or anything else you can't legally hand your rifle (assault weapon) to your guide w/o him needing a background check. He can not hand you a round (bullet for all the libs) w/o you needing a bground check. They have gone totally New England bat s**t crazy here. The result of a 1 party system. And that 1 party is clueless. I have a brother, also a Marine, who foolishly moved from Ut. to Vermont. He has been trying to sell his house for 4 years to get out of there. He h**es it there. I went to visit him and thought I had walked into a time warp. I was amazed at how expensive everything is. His property tax is over $10,000. They can keep that place.
hey buddy--enjoy the day..DER

I knew that latest gun grabber law in Colorado was just a wee bit silly but you have showed me new heights of idiocy.

In 2006 the Democrat woman I tried to help get elected to the Colorado legislature (I made phone calls for her) swore that she couldn't be elected because the Republican who had held the seat for years just couldn't be beat. Think of the change that took place there in the last 6 years. I sympathize with your brother, especially for him being a Marine in that state, but there are some on this forum who live in that area. I don't think there is any way to help those people other than move out and let them have it.

as far as change in Co. it has been HUGE. We currently give i******s more access to doctors than we do citizens. The powers in Denver now want to raise our taxes. Yes my brother regrets his move. His house is about $485K, would cost about $200K here. Vermont is only 1 of 2 or 3 states with a population decrease. The sun NEVER shines and if you burp they tax it. I find that place simply wretched. They take about their mountains. I am sitting here looking at Pike's Peak. What mountains?

It is hard to believe that Colorado has changed that much in so short a time, but the fact that it was there that Obama "became" our President tells me a lot. That woman I talked about was so happy to attend his big speech that fall in the Springs. She took her children and husband and all of them were so thrilled.

I still prefer the Blue Ridge Mtns, over all those I have seen and that would include the Rockies, Sierras, Alps and others in that part of the world. And the Blue Ridge is very much eroded, but also very green.

Colorado has definitely changed. From the Springs south pretty conservative. After all Pueblo is called the Home of Heroes. Largest density of retired military in Colorado. Yes the Springs is where The One was given the KISS. Hard to believe so many still drink his Kool-Aid. I am a Rockies guy. Grew up with them in Utah and could never find anything in my travels around the world that I thought were their equal. Plus all of the beautiful sunshine here. Low taxes and so much to do.
