Ain't that the t***h!! I'd like to think, but know it's not so, that "if only" we just v**ed them all out, started with "new ones", we'd have our solution to the morass we're in. Sadly, I don't think so. We all know what time it is.

Clean house and start fresh, worth a shot.
It could be a disaster, or more likely an improvement.
Too many in politics for too long, and owe many favors.

It "may" be worth a shot. One can only hope. I'd like to say it couldn't possibly get any worse, but I'm afraid to do more than whisper the possibility, not wanting to jinx it. I guess the p******c has made my normally "doesn't-matter-whether-the-glass-is-half-full-or-half-empty, just-have-to-remember-to-refill-it" attitude a little less optimistic. lol I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the "owing of many favors" has seeped into every crack and crevice of Capitol Hill and beyond, like a foul smelling oil, contaminating everything it touches, threatening to suck the very oxygen out of democracy. Past sad, that is. Add to that one, every once in a while, I catch a glimpse in an eye of one person or another on the periphery of the political scene who I'm chatting with that can only be described as being that of a zealot, and usually it is when they are talking about snuffing out the "other side". I find an excuse to walk away. It is solutions we need to be finding, a way to come together, not ways to rip each other apart.

The blame game, no real solutions.
The not my President game, same.
Not up to me?
Well, some ways it is.
Why not focus on solutions or at least ideas for solutions?

The "blame game" and the putting of one's head into the sand are wonderful stalling tactics to not having to put words into actions. I will admit that the more I ask myself "why" or "how" can this be fixed, the more I realize just how much I do not know about how all the pieces of the puzzle fit together, and the more I go back to educating myself. You have to understand how all the pieces and parts fit and work together, or ought to work, before you formulate a repair. So, where are you in your journey of formulating solutions?

Not a medical person, best left to the experts in that field.
Only my opinion.
If you have no experience in anything, best to step aside until you know what is best.

Well, I value your opinion, just so you know, and you would be most correct...."first, do no harm."
