Wake up call, small communities, especially in red states that have done nothing are getting hit to a degree that their small community healthcare systems cannot deal with. This was predicted, it only had to be taken seriously a few weeks ago to prevent thousands and tens of thousands of people from needlessly dying. Italy sent the message, they served as the warning of what happens weeks down the road when you ignore this.

The left has been talking themselves blue in the face warning people, not trying to scare people, warning them, big big difference.

Unfortunately it has been turned into a red and blue thing, red state governors are choosing not to do anything which is exactly like Italy handled it, and we can see how that went and is still working for them, Blue state governors are proactively shutting things down and it is making a difference, and it is very unfortunate that it takes so many weeks to see the results. This is creating an Italy style disaster. Kentucky, a red state with a blue governor got proactive against the wishes of the red senate and house, and he is going to save hundreds or thousands of lives with only 800 cases compared to their neighbor Tennessee that already has 3200 cases in a couple of weeks. This argument will be a no brainer a month and two months from now, and people who get it later are going to want to know why their leadership ignored warnings and didn't take it seriously.

And we still have a lack of testing that is truly inexplicable, there is no reason for this country with it's myriad of advanced labs to not be doing hundreds of thousands of tests a day. The military has still not been asked to kick the 12 or so labs they have into gear, federal labs have not been pressed into service, all the state labs have not.

The lack of testing has dark reasons, because it can only be this administration wants lower numbers, or they are wanting to keep the control and money to a few big national entities.

They only want certain labs to test because from lab work it is possible to tell that this v***s was altered. (man-made) Several people are talking about this , but it hasn't been proven conclusively.

No other state can hold a candle to New York's lack of effective leadership.

Michigan is a big screw up. They have a lower per capita infection rate than New York, but a higher death rate among the infected. They have the sixth highest infection rate among all states, but the highest death rate among the six states. Their people are very spread out, except for a few cities like Detroit, so social distancing should have been easier for them. Their Democrat Governor is blaming Trump for their problems. She doesn't realize that Governors were expected to actually do things. When Trump responded to her whining the l*****t media came to her defense.

Then there is the Democrat Mayor of New Orleans who is blaming Trump for not canceling Mardi Gras. Apparently these Democrats aren't expected to have brains of their own and use them.

These people who are complaining about Trump are the same ones who called him a R****T for shutting down travel from China in January. Then there is Pelosi who wasn't listening to Trump's State of the Union speech and made a big show of tearing it up at the end. Trump warned of the C****a crisis in his State of the Union. Now Pelosi says "people are dying while Trump fiddles". If she had listened to Trump rather than try to impeach him, things might have gone better.

I'm sure there are equally stupid Republicans in this C****a fiasco. Neither party has a corner on the market for "stupid". Woody's claim of all Democrats good and all Republicans bad is just hot air.

If you want to talk about leadership look at what Trump did in January, testing was catastrophically delayed. The heavily populated cities are going to be hit the hardest and what has Trump done to help them even since a month ago. It has nothing to do with NYC leadership. They had stockpiles they needed to send out in these emergencies and the i***t argues they were "their" stockpiles. Give me a break.

First you blame President Trump because the CDC and the FDA are drowning in a sea of self imposed

bureaucratic red tape called "procedure". It is the CDC alone that is responsible for the shortage of

testing available. Then you imply that President Trump has not done anything to help NYC.

The mayor demanded 30,000 respirators, which he didn't have the staff to employ.

President Trump has sent a hospital ship and dozens of field hospitals, along with respirators, and

the trained personnel to effectively employ their use. Those stockpiles belong to the federal government,

and are under control of the White House, not the mayor of NYC, nor the governor of NY.

Stop whining in your ignorance and GROW UP!

Ha, me stop whining, you're the little girl having a hissy fit. Maybe you should read up on Trump's lack of action back when the first case of the v***s showed up on our shores. Do you recall when he was LIVE telling people to go to work? Lack of action is what I blamed him for, not for what you're saying.

It's interesting that in 2019 there were over 8,000 flu deaths in the U.S. and
we never heard a peep out of any of the 'Socialist Distancers'

The nonsense of your posts, never worth a response.
Never a word of praise for anything or anybody.

YES, it is a total smear campaign. The only t***hs were the tidbits of information that were coming in for the administration to act on. The exaggerations and lies are related to the administration's response. The most outrageous lie said that only 1500 tests have been administered. Really? There have been over 20,000 tests administered in my state alone. Two-thirds were positive and one-third negative. There were over 100,000 tests administered half way through March in the US.

They spent a great deal of time complaining about the malaria drug being used to treat C****a. So what if it doesn't work all that well! If it works even a little, that's a bonus. How about we just stop criticizing and wait till the drug results are in?

They complained that Trump is wasting F***i and Birx time at the news conferences. Apparently it irritates Democrats that Trump is supported by health professionals. Trump and his health professionals should just stop the news interviews and let us rely on the unprofessional advice and lies from l*****t media.

Here are some useful articles to put Trump's v***s response in perspective:
