Wake up call, small communities, especially in red states that have done nothing are getting hit to a degree that their small community healthcare systems cannot deal with. This was predicted, it only had to be taken seriously a few weeks ago to prevent thousands and tens of thousands of people from needlessly dying. Italy sent the message, they served as the warning of what happens weeks down the road when you ignore this.

The left has been talking themselves blue in the face warning people, not trying to scare people, warning them, big big difference.

Unfortunately, we can only warn people . Gov warns and when ignored and people get arrested they whine and scream about how we are denying their rights. We are a country of spoiled people never have I witnessed that till this v***s came on board. what can I say it has nothing to do with politics or red or blue wood but everything to do with parents have raised and are raising people that push come to shove and this country EVER has serious lock down or marshal law you will see the adult nursery in an uproar of disbelief that they can't get their way ITS CALLED TEMPER TANRUM

We'll have that conversation in a month when the Italian realization hits. The thing I posted is a hard right site.
Compare Kentucky and Tennessee and tell me about lies...800 vs 3200, that is doing something versus not, and the difference in a month or two will be tens of thousands.

Try figuring out exponential math and do the numbers on where Florida is in another month then two months.

Do you know that New York had only 300 cases two weeks ago? Where do you think they will be from the hundred thousand and over 3000 deaths they are at now in another month?

What state is that, and what is the relevance of a state with 870,000 people? So what, look at all of them, Tennessee, having done nothing went from a few cases to 3200 in a couple of weeks, 3200 turns into as much as ten times that in a few weeks.

Mississippi, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, these states are heading for some huge troubles. The red states that have a smaller problem that haven't locked it down will. It's like watching a train wreck where the engineers are accelerating as hard as they can before hitting each other.

Unfortunately it has been turned into a red and blue thing, red state governors are choosing not to do anything which is exactly like Italy handled it, and we can see how that went and is still working for them, Blue state governors are proactively shutting things down and it is making a difference, and it is very unfortunate that it takes so many weeks to see the results. This is creating an Italy style disaster. Kentucky, a red state with a blue governor got proactive against the wishes of the red senate and house, and he is going to save hundreds or thousands of lives with only 800 cases compared to their neighbor Tennessee that already has 3200 cases in a couple of weeks. This argument will be a no brainer a month and two months from now, and people who get it later are going to want to know why their leadership ignored warnings and didn't take it seriously.

And we still have a lack of testing that is truly inexplicable, there is no reason for this country with it's myriad of advanced labs to not be doing hundreds of thousands of tests a day. The military has still not been asked to kick the 12 or so labs they have into gear, federal labs have not been pressed into service, all the state labs have not.

The lack of testing has dark reasons, because it can only be this administration wants lower numbers, or they are wanting to keep the control and money to a few big national entities.

Oops, I must have been wrong thinking. I live in a rural area just outside of a small community in a red state. Would you believe that we actually get information from the outside world and that we have access to excellent medical care. I thought people on the right as well as the left have had a hand in warning the public, trying to educate the public and in treating people afflicted with the v***s. As a matter of fact, I do not recall any medical care person expressing his/her political preference either prior to or during the providing or offering advice on medical care.

I doubt that our state would be classed as a "hot spot" for the v***s if our Governor had cancelled Mardi Gras.
People come from all over the world to celebrate Mardi Gras in NewOrleans, bringing their money and their diseases with them. Louisiana "benefited" financially, but now is paying a price for couple of weeks of massive partying.

you can't blame everything on the government believe me if they did anything this wouldn't be it. Now if you were to say it was a bioweapon that escaped now my conspiracy cells might take a leap on that one. But delibratly putting our nation down this rabbit hole has no up side

No other state can hold a candle to New York's lack of effective leadership.

woody, your last line has covered it all.. both wanting to hide the t***h in the number of infected and wanting the money for the high price of health need is the clear aim of the orange theft monger in the oval office.. he has his son in law and the brother of said son in law, making policy and involved in markets of medical needs.

In words of the son in law, the "federal store house" belongs to them, not the states..

In fact the true name is the National store house, which belongs to all the states.. but may have changed the facts to support the son in laws blurting of stupidity..
