Do you consider all your employers as self-serving or just the republican ones?

Every employer I have had, the republican owners were more generous that the democrat owners. The Democrats' attitude is always why should I pay you more because you have the government to help take care of you. I notice they have the same attitude when it comes to charitable giving where their attitude is we pay a lot in taxes so the government can take care of them. Not by any means a scientific survey. This is only my observation that is the result of personal experience.

The difference is who's being a headless supporter of who.

Obama supporters will always defend Obama for everything, despite making millions years after he was doing being president just for giving "speeches" and Trump supporters will always support Trump despite him being a poor excuse for a person.

So, in your opinion, saving lives and stopping wars, is a poor excuse for a person. I'm not a doctor but I suspect you've got a severe case of DTS. Before the v***s, we also had the greatest economy, ever. And after the v***s is defeated the economy will soar again.

You spelled your blanket term for someone who disagrees with your opinion wrong.

Ah yes, Peewee, thank you for bringing out the strawman. Putting words in my mouth that I never said. Please, continue to demonstrate your unwavering support for your public servant.

No comparison between Obama and Trump, respectively, one the Manchurian Candidate and the other a Patriot who believes in America.

You're welcome. If you want, please continue to bring up other things I didn't say in an attempt to make me look like I h**e America, despite having risked my life for this country.

Do I h**e the troops now? Am I a dirty pro-choicer?

Thank you for your service! No one thinks you h**e America (unless you show it by what you say and do).

Do you h**e America? There are a lot of veterans who risked their lives for some other ungrateful country while serving in our military and now they h**e America.

I don't. I'm very glad my parents made the journey over here to be able to see and do what I've done.

My only point being is that when I was overseas, I fought for people like my coworkers at my current job, who work very hard for their pay, love their families fiercely, and make those who are their friends feel like that family.

There are very few things that make me feel like what we did (and forget me, the people we had who were alongside me and died next to me) was wasted. I'm very aware I fought so that people can be ungrateful, and do stupid things, and not know the price of freedom. I've made peace with that.

But what gets under my skin are politicians. Always have, always will. People who are elected to represent people like my coworkers, and instead make a foolery of themselves and our resources. And with plenty of arrogance and self righteousness. Both Republicans and Democrats. Lawyer and business millionaires who wouldn't even be able to comprehend what it's like to know a guy, and then see the inside of his head weeks later.

Trump is the epitome of those to me, Tucker. I can appreciate his effect on the economy. And his effect on jobs.

But I'll never respect the guy.

I do apologize for my tangent. I am proud of my service, but I don't like going that deep, or bringing it up and using it for clout, like I've seen some people do.

Fair enough. You don't have to respect Trump. But you should respect the office he was elected to. There are far too many who do not.

What bugs me is that about 10 years ago we reached the lowest number in our history of having veterans elected to public service. The numbers in Congress are beginning to increase gradually.

Sure. I understand he is what America wanted, and I fought for people to have an opinion. Still don't like him.

I've pretty much given up on vets in Congress. Let me know if it gets better.

Well, that goes for anyone who has been in office long past their usefulness. Duncan H****r Jr. and Randy Cunningham come immediately to mind in my neck of the woods.

Wh**ever you really are, you are still alive, so if you h**e America you still have time to change. Thank you for your service and I'm retired AF. And Trump is your president even if you don't like or respect him. I retired because Clinton was president. Sadly, I knew too much about him to want to serve under him.
