V***ses play roles we haven't even imagined through the entire biosphere. These ones that cause disease are interesting in that they also have to adhere to se******n pressures. The goal is to replicate; selfish gene stuff. Disease is actually a somewhat lethal thing for v***ses. If they k**l the host then they die with it. That is the main reason v***ses like Ebola will only have local effects. The ones most wide spread we don't even know about because they live in "harmony" with the hosts. These flu bugs and c****a v***ses are somewhere in between.

That being said, there are a lot of ignorant fools out there it seems.

Speaking of ignorance, a lot more ignorant people are going to die in red states than those who got the message and are taking it seriously. Tennessee versus Kentucky, you look at the stats and tell me that the state with less cases and deaths isn't far better off.

Trump cant fight this, ministers can't pray and shine in god's light and be spared as the minister who just died figured out the hard way. Trump can wish and hope and believe we are winning this "fight" all he wants, be he is going to lose when he has k**led thousands of people.

I think this will be Trump "going down" prediction 2599 and counting.

Trump’s trouble is that he doesn’t seek help. He “wings” everything he says and does.

That’s always the answer to criticism, isn’t it.

Criticism is one thing, anti Trump rants are quite another.

Really, Trump is way beyond criticism. Now it’s fear and disgust.

Like I said - criticism is one thing, a TDS rant is quite another.

I believe you belong in the same category as Kevyboy, LoneWolf, and a couple of others. Ignore because nothing worthwhile comes from you.

We can’t help it if you refuse to hear anything but praise and adulation about Trump, and from Trump about himself.

Do you think this v***s and it's effect on the economy will cost Trump his presidency?

Dunno. Hope so. If the economy stays where it is—roller coaster up and down—probably.

You snowflakes took the Blame Trump game into the Twilight Zone a long time ago. You're doing nothing but fantasizing in this comment.

In a previous post, I introduced Crisis in the Red Zone by Richard Preston. This chilling documentary of lethal v***l outbreaks is based on the Ebola epidemic in 2014. This book is a gripping account of the doctors and scientists fighting to protect us, and an urgent wake-up call about the future of emerging v***ses.

Crisis in the Red Zone makes clear that the outbreak of 2013-2014 is a harbinger of further, more severe outbreaks, and of emerging v***ses heretofore unimagined - in any country, on any continent. In our ever more interconnected world, v***ses both familiar and undiscovered are being unleashed into more densely populated areas than ever before.

In 1976, the first Ebola patient, a pregnant woman, appeared at the Catholic Mission Hospital in Zaire, Africa. She was first attended to by a Catholic mid-wife/nurse who assisted in delivery of a still-born baby. The woman died soon after and the nurse was infected. Nine days later she died a horrible death. The parish priest attended to her, administered last rites, and he died 13 days later. The beast was out of its cave. People were dropping like flies. The effort to "handle" this crisis did not rest with one man, no one at the time pointed fingers at anyone.

Regardless of what one man's field of expertise may be, it is absolutely impossible to hold him responsible for something far beyond any one man's ability to handle. If your solution to the c****av***s p******c is to hold president Trump accountable and blame him for its spread and lethality, then you have a serious flaw in your ability to reason. We already know what that flaw is, so there's no need for you to attempt rationalizing.

Trump was scared to death the v***s was going to wreck his precious economy, that’s why he was all “f**e news” and “it’s all under control” for 2 months—despite all intel warnings.
