The v***s isn't Trump's fault, but the hysterical reaction to it can be attributed to the MSM and the Dems attempt at politicizing it.

With already 1300 American deaths from c***d **, and infections now in greater numbers than in China, I think there might just be room for a little hysteria. All experts say it's going to get far worse in the coming weeks, but lying, ignorant Trump wants all the churches to be packed on Easter, 17 days hence.
Trump cares squat about Americans dying; all he cares about is a market recovery to boost his stupid claim to be re-elected.

In a country with 300 million, that is a truly small number and is also dwarfed by the number who died in the same time period by other flu's, not to mention all the other causes of death.

As for the "experts" we can now see that is a myth. Hell, Bill Gates thinks he is an expert in this!

Nature often does wh**ever is necessary in order to make the most number of experts wrong.
Robert Preston: Crisis in the Red Zone.

The Story of the Deadliest Ebola Outbreak in History, and of the Outbreaks to Come.

Curiously, 2 months ago, before this c****av***s outbreak, I read this book on a whim. Saw it on a shelf at the library and was intrigued. It is a chiller and a thriller, a terrifying account of the insidious lethality of pathogenic v***ses.

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • An urgent wake-up call about the future of emerging v***ses and a gripping account of the doctors and scientists fighting to protect us, told through the story of the deadly 2013–2014 Ebola epidemic

“Crisis in the Red Zone reads like a thriller. That the story it tells is all true makes it all more terrifying.”—Elizabeth Kolbert, Pulitzer Prize–winning author of The Sixth Extinction

From the #1 bestselling author of The Hot Zone, now a National Geographic original miniseries . . .

This time, Ebola started with a two-year-old child who likely had contact with a wild creature and whose entire family quickly fell ill and died. The ensuing global drama activated health professionals in North America, Europe, and Africa in a desperate race against time to contain the v***l wildfire. By the end—as the v***s mutated into its deadliest form, and spread farther and faster than ever before—30,000 people would be infected, and the dead would be spread across eight countries on three continents.

In this taut and suspenseful medical drama, Richard Preston deeply chronicles the p******c, in which we saw for the first time the specter of Ebola jumping continents, crossing the Atlantic, and infecting people in America. Rich in characters and conflict—physical, emotional, and ethical—Crisis in the Red Zone is an immersion in one of the great public health calamities of our time.

Preston writes of doctors and nurses in the field putting their own lives on the line, of government bureaucrats and NGO administrators moving, often fitfully, to try to contain the outbreak, and of pharmaceutical companies racing to develop drugs to combat the v***s. He also explores the charged ethical dilemma over who should and did receive the rare doses of an experimental treatment when they became available at the peak of the disaster.

Crisis in the Red Zone makes clear that the outbreak of 2013–2014 is a harbinger of further, more severe outbreaks, and of emerging v***ses heretofore unimagined—in any country, on any continent. In our ever more interconnected world, with roads and towns cut deep into the jungles of equatorial Africa, v***ses both familiar and undiscovered are being unleashed into more densely populated areas than ever before.

The more we discover about the virosphere, the more we realize its deadly potential. Crisis in the Red Zone is an exquisitely timely book, a stark warning of v***l outbreaks to come.

The most ignorant fools on this planet are those who think they can hold one man accountable for the outbreak, spread, and consequences of a lethal v***s. Crisis in the Red Zone dispenses with that stupid notion.

OTOH, when we have a so-called leader who is more interested in propping up the market for his re-e******n than the health and safety of the people, that’s where we run into trouble.

i Nature often does wh**ever is necessary in orde... (show quote)

V***ses play roles we haven't even imagined through the entire biosphere. These ones that cause disease are interesting in that they also have to adhere to se******n pressures. The goal is to replicate; selfish gene stuff. Disease is actually a somewhat lethal thing for v***ses. If they k**l the host then they die with it. That is the main reason v***ses like Ebola will only have local effects. The ones most wide spread we don't even know about because they live in "harmony" with the hosts. These flu bugs and c****a v***ses are somewhere in between.

That being said, there are a lot of ignorant fools out there it seems.

How it's handled is man's fault, one man, and he is on the Italy model while half the country gets it.

Trump cant fight this, ministers can't pray and shine in god's light and be spared as the minister who just died figured out the hard way. Trump can wish and hope and believe we are winning this "fight" all he wants, be he is going to lose when he has k**led thousands of people.
