I've seen that too wolf. I've been shoot the same Mossberg 500 for over 40 years and every time I take it out I dry fire it to reorient myself with the safety. Mike

I still am not ready to arm myself, and someday that might be to late, but if I do, I won't go through any government approval regulations. They are the reason I would arm myself.

Meanwhile I urge anyone on the right to seriously consider arming yourself or add to your arms. That day you need it might still be just over the horizon.

You're thinking very well in your second paragraph. NEVER trust the gubment, they've been screwing us for at least 70, years probably more. I never registered anything. My conceal carry permit is the 2A. And yes they are the reason for me too. Well, they and we have so many other foreign who are now domestic enemies. Plus you can always make ghost guns. It only takes about an hour or less in your workshop.

IMHO: One thing about an EYVC (E******n Year V***s Crisis), it shows what people can expect if they elect someone like Occasional Cortex, Bernie, or Sleepy Joe. Empty shelves and Marshal Law. The grocery stores look about like the stores in East Berlin back in the sixties, but, what do you know -- East Berlin is still there.

An EYVC sells toilet paper like Obama sold guns. Haven't noticed a real rush on buying guns in my area yet, so maybe most of my friends and neighbors have enough of them already! I don't know what the attraction is for the rush on toilet paper, maybe people are expecting SHTF or something. If enough Progressives buy guns, no more than they appear to know about guns, they will likely end up shooting themselves and flooding the hospitals with self-inflicted wounds.

So far, this EYVC hasn't bothered me much since I have been preparing for a liberal attack for nine or ten years. Bio-terrorism is what I've been expecting rather than nukes and all that conventional stuff, since it is so much more efficient; k*****g people and not destroying the infrastructure. It fits right in with the Agenda 21 goals for reducing world population, along with wars in general. At my age, I'm not going to worry about it very much, other than to defend myself, my property, and my family if it comes to that.

It does fit in with Agenda 21. And the same people are suspect in who sent the v***s.

The use, handling, shooting, maintenance, safety, responsibilities and liabilities of gun ownership cannot be learned by taking a course. I've encountered people at shooting ranges who should never have had their hands on a firearm. And, this explosion in gun sales to people who have never owned a gun in their lives has the potential of getting a lot of people injured or k**led.

There are many excellent firearm instruction courses available and one thing the instructors stress is to continue developing sk**ls with a gun long after the trainees complete the course. Question is, how many of these newbies will actually take a basic firearms course? How many who do take a course will continue to train themselves at shooting ranges?

Too few will take a course, most will think 'I can do this.' Not if they use a side-grip like some gang bangers on tv. That's a sure way to have broken fingers. The first thing they 'should' learn is how to safely hold the weapon. That one is often ignored because it is so basic. Yet I've seen some shoot themselves in the back of their heads thinking the gun was empty.

Do they still sell underwire bras? We went hunting, no big deal, until I heard someone nearby fire and there were no animals. A woman sort of collapsed backward into my arms. We could find no blood, and she said she felt okay. When she got home she felt a 'pressure' took her bra off and a bullet rolled out. We all think the underwire saved her.

They're not wire anymore, they're plastic.
