Since Frisco is in Texas! (Not far from Dallas.) You must be afraid of Texans. Dunno why.

You said you had a problem with folks in Frisco (Frisco is in Texas), but I think you meant San Francisco (which is in California) Right?

I re-read several times and I didn't say anything about the folks in Frisco, TX.
You seem to have extrapolated something that wasn't expressed.

Politically correct speech is not my thing. My dad was a trucker and Frisco has been a trucker word since before people decided to be "offended" by it.

Physics is what it is. Don't be on Market Street or Fisherman's Wharf during the big one is all I can say. I know what they did after the shaker in 1904.

The building I am in was built in 1896, so has withstood the big 1908 plus the Loma Prieta quake in 1989. And we just did some foundation work that should hold up in the next one. Plus we are on bedrock. But I totally agree on parts of Market Street, Fisherman's Wharf and the Marina. Those are built on landfill and the earth pretty much liquifies in a big quake.

I am giving you special permission to use "Frisco" since you have family history with the word.
