I'd take anything from the NYT with a sack of salt. Bret Stevens is? If you didn't know it ALL politicians are narcissists.

And this too will pass, and come September or October everyone will have long forgotten about C****-** and the Markets will be back up. But the real question is, do you think Biden, Hillary of the Democrats would have handled this any better? I seriously doubt it. The party in power takes the blame, regardless. Neither party has a leg up on the other. This is one of those things that no matter how much to plan ahead for it, human nature being what it is you will not get the cooperation you need. It only takes a few to throw a monkey wrench in the workings. Jet Blue has permanently banned a passenger who tested positive and still flew. Italy had a Muslim who was positive and instructed to self-quarantine for two weeks but he continued to go to work. He is being criminally charged.

Experience is what you get and learn from after you screw up!

Biden would ask if Barack approved the C****av***s. Hillary would be after it with an AR-15. So nobody would do better.

Unfortunately for you, Trump's supporters do not see it that way. Each event and crisis is viewed by the left as Trump's " Waterloo ".

The Times writers keep believing that they know the minds of the Trump V**ers. So far they have been wrong. They only know the minds of people who think in lock step with them.

They would have to convince Trump v**ers that their guys would have done better. Obama's record on the H1N1 and the BP oil spill do not show that Democrat Presidents handle a crisis any better or even as good.

You sir are not living in the real world, it this were "handled" in two months, which in reality it will not have even peaked and reached a plateau, this will have devastating effects on the economy. This is hurting businesses... what do you think it is doing to airlines and scheduled flights? How about cruise lines, they are parking their ships, I would be surprised if they resume within 6 months.

A best case scenario is devastating to the economy, stretch it and it is a k**ler to a vast array of businesses.

Trump has huge corporations lining up for money they do not need, they will survive without it. Their employees need direct replacement for lost wages and related expenses to C****av***s. Any amount of money being looked at for corporations needs to be given directly to people where it will do the most good.

Certainly the current occupant of the White House proves your point, in spades.

Wasn't "Warerloo" a song by Abba ? Some drunk keeps playing it on the juke-box... over and over and over. The democrats sound like a little mouse's last desperate "Squeek!" just before the cat pounces.
So sad.
So pathetic.

I like that song. Although I wouldn't want to hear it a thousand times in a row. I remember having a similar experience 40 some odd years ago. I was in a bar peacefully drinking my sorrows away, when a drunk played the a song repeatedly. I can only surmise he had just quit his job. He played and sang along with " Take this Job and shove it " until everyone in the bar wanted to commit homicide on him.

Even president Nixon had his Waterloo (Yogi Berra).

It would make you very happy if the Wu Flu k**led millions of Americans so the President would look bad. Too bad for you as President Trump is handling this media driven "crisis" more effectively than any other leader on earth and this panic and hysteria will simply be another fail by the left to take President Trump out.

I always thought Waterloo was Napoleon, but then I am quite ignorant of history.

The ones who wish this are more likely to be the ones who get the Wu Flu and die from it. That's justice.

So, "Be careful what you wish for!"

Are you addressing the correct post, as I didn't wish any Americans to die? I was attributing that desire to the left wing poster I was replying to and yes, since I am a right winger, I am pretty sure I would be high on his list to be one against whom the Wuflu would enjoy its ultimate success.
