btw, the spot price of oil dropped $20/bbl when Bush lifted the drilling moratorium on Fed. tracts. This country could fund the Fed. gov't and payoff the $17T debt by dedicating a single oil-field's royalties. Just the announcement, without a single drop extracted, would defang OPEC and drop the price of gasoline by a buck or two...
