I don't doubt that is true, however, we do much, much less regarding flu v***s's here in the US even the death toll each and every year is far greater that the C****-** has been thus far. It might get worse, but I actually doubt it. Internet misinformation is rampant as virtually everything is blown so out of proportion. The weather channel is a great example where you have guys sanding in ditches in waist deep water trying to make it look like wide spread flooding is occurring while in the back ground people are walking by, on the side of the ditch going to the grocery store.

And I actually hope I am right. I hope this new bug doesn't get to the levels of flu we already have for which we don't quarantine or prevent from travelling.

I hope too, that you are right. I have over 3 months supply of food for the household, and don’t feel it’s enough. So going out tomorrow to beef it up.

I do actually believe this will become a p******c.

I just read the US has had 14,000 deaths from flu this year so hopefully, this v***s doesn't take hold here

Deaths due to Flu and Pneumonia in 2017 for the USA alone. That's just 2017, just the USA.

Influenza and Pneumonia: 55,672

Very nearly as many due to kidney disease.

I'm just having to think this is a great story for the media to make some money on.

Both, there is a flu at this time. What I've read is the c****av***s is a mutation that will either die or hibernate then come back mutated stronger.

How many of them are the “anti Vaxers” who falsely believe flu shots will make them sick?

Maybe, I'm one, but when I'm sick, I'll get a shot or take medicine.

Hold on Kevyn I have known people that have never taken the flu shot who's dr.s insisted they have to have it due to their age in less than 48 hrs they got so sick one went out to get her mail the day after neighbor found her on the sidewalk she was in the hospital for almost a week she almost died. The v*****e they give is created from the flu from the year before it is not a guarantee all it is supposed to do is help you have a lighter case of the flu. In recent years though the flu that comes up the next year is a different strain and making the v*****e useless. This is my understanding I have never had the v*****e I believe if my body is doing its job I don't want to interfere and possibly weaken it. I have had flu 3 times in my life last time was maybe 20 yrs ago

That's pretty much like me. Get a flu shot, a few days later get the flu. That's why I haven't done it for years.

I imagine now if people get the hicups they'll be beating down the drs door for antibiotics nothing like a possible p******c to make you health conscious

It's just like all the rest. It is a flu v***s which is the result of a mutated flu v***s. They all are. They mutate and change every few years much like the cold v***s. It could even be a back mutation of a previous flu bug. It might be as virulent as the others or more of less. We will see.

But for the hype, I doubt we'd have heard about it.

Exactly! And don't get me wrong, it could end up bad, but the odds are against it.

To answer your question - C****-** is real enough to cause China to lock down over 70 million people and has already since the end of the Chinese New Year, shaved 1% off its GDP. It is not abating - not even levelling off.

I’m sure you can get cheap flights and a cruise over there at a cut rate prices right now.

Very little effort on the internet will confirm.

On the bright side, the Chinese government doesn't have to pay those not working! What a happy circumstance since I hear they aren't making as much money these days as they used to.
