Cork soaker ?

Would you care to clarify that remark.

Also, I don't recall God appointing you to be His spokesman on the subject of mercy.

Especially since you have absolutely no idea of what any of us have done in regard to helping our neighbors and fellow Americans

And there is the issue.....perhaps instead of applying brakes we need to consider breaks, job creation comes when the rich invest in our nation.

He'll never get that Pennylynn. He's probably sucked off the American taxpayer his entire life.

Most of the billions trump and his tax breaks went to buy back their own stock ,and another bonus they got was a tax break to move their production overseas costing us 40 some thousand jobs.

I have been in a similar situation.

But what I am hearing from you (and correct me if I am wrong) is that the parents are responsible?

All parents are responsible. Some parents unfortunately need help. It is not the childs fault or their choice

And what do you mean by "need help"? I agree, some are t***sient issues: Most are not.

The drug/alcohol addicted person needs help - and what do you do when they refuse (as many, if not most) do?

And what about the ones who just refuse to do anything and live on the system?

Do you want to be treated "fairly"? Or do you want to be treated "equally"?

No, I would not send my children to bed hungry but, unfortunately, a lot of welfare mothers use their money to buy drugs not to feed their children. Others buy McDonalds meals for their children because they are too lazy or stoned to buy whole chickens and rice and beans, which they have to cook before feeding their children. Our church has a weekly pot luck dinner where we all bring food ready to eat and everyone, even those we don't yet know, is welcome to come and eat. We even deliver food to several families who have no way to get there. Unfortunately many of these people refuse to cook the food we donate. These people have money for booze and drugs, but not to feed their children. What keeps going through my mine is that ALL those women should be spayed, and as quickly as possible.

I hear the same thing from people who work for social services.

Everybody has the capacity to help others in need. We always feel better when it is our choice to do so. We get fed a lot of propaganda that tells us the poor are stealing from us so that they become despised burdons. Children cannot find work and feed themselves. When I was a kid I was the oldest of 8 and I went hunting just about every day after school. I could buy a box of 22 shells for 50 cents then. We ate a lot of rabbits and quail.I was 4'11" and 102 lbs went I went into the service. The one thing that amazed me most was all the food and all the milk that was available. I am now 5'10" and weigh 240. ---

Only a conservative could think that the poorest of Americans are taking food off the middle class table! When they v**e to send their Money to the top 1% hopeing it will create jobs. Might be faster keeping it at the bottom .
We can't take of our own but we spent a trillion k*****g people in Afghanistan for what.

There's a difference between helping those in need and enabling others to continue a lifestyle dependent on others...
