Pete and all same sex "marriages" are in violation of the definition of marriage as defined by virtually all regions world wide. There really is no way of getting around that. And, there is literally no way to "biblically" justify same sex marriage. No way no how.
All sin is punishable by death so trumps serial adultery and there is also no way to justify that
Unless one repents and calls on Christ to be saved. Then its washed away. That goes for everyone including Trump and Buttigieg.
That is true but went one is in a same sex marriage, I am not seeing any type of repent/effort to avoid the sin of homosexuality. That is the discussion. Mayor Pete remains in the same sex marriage and even tried to justify it by lying about what the bible says about it.

Trump appears to have repented from any serial adultery as far as can be seen, but Mayor Pete remains in a gay marriage/gay relationship with no visible effort to repent or get forgiveness for it or to even try to avoid the homosexual relationship or marriage.
We don't really know about Trump now but Mayor Pete's ongoing life as a gay man in a gay marriage appears to be ongoing.
He, and I, I might add, do not deny God’s word; parts of the Bible are fantasy or borrowed material: the creation story, the Adam & Eve/Talking Snake episode, Noah’s flood, etc.
If ANY part of the Bible is false, then it is ALL suspect.
Now you've got it. Anyone who says every word of the bible is the true word out of the mouth of God is nuts.
Maybe so, however, the "Word of God" might actually be contained within it's pages and within the pages of many "holy" books/writtings/oral histories/etc. However, accepted homosexuality is a part of none of their beginnings and has only recently become something that only a few of them accept.
A Hindu writer once claimed that same sex lovers had loved each other in the past when they were of the opposite sex in previous lives. I found that one to be rather unique but fitting right in with the idea of reincarnation.
Matrimony is a sacrament, gay or straight. Doesn’t matter. A gay man marrying a straight woman—or vice versa—ruins both their lives.
[Jesus] said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” Matthew 19:5-7
By the way kemmer, the definition of wife:
wife 1 a: dialect: WOMAN b: a woman acting in a specified capacity —used in combination 2: a female partner in a marriage
