He was pleased to have them serve - until they failed to lie for him. You cannot make this look like anything other than childish vindictiveness.

he (Vindman) actually simply complied with a subpoena and told the t***h

Wrong: He lied.

Vindman's job at the National Security Council is to write policy memos, schedule meetings and keep minutes of conversations with foreign diplomats. That's why he was on the July 25 call.

On page 316, Vindman claims that Trump "demanded" investigations from Zelenskiy in return for military aid, but that's Vindman's opinion, not fact. He admitted that the actual words spoken during the call don't support that claim: "I think people want to hear, you know, what they have as already preconceived notions." Vindman's damning admission is found on page 256 of the transcript.

Vindman lied for himself when he proclaimed that Trump "demanded" the Ukraine president investigate the Biden's. Look at the transcript of the call and tell me if you think a demand was made. Childish vindictiveness?? Really. It was this lie which he told to Schiff and the IG that started the whole charade. And just so you know, Vindman is not popular in military circles.

Yeah, but what was weird about it Zelensky was made to sound like everything was OK. A couple of points 1) the whole 'get-Trump scenario started way before the July 25 phone call to Zelensky. 2) why did the Dems make such a big deal out of the timing of the payment..or the holdup when they v**ed against it anyway?

True, the get Trump scenario started the moment he came down the escalator. As for the timing, they thought they could d**g this out into the e******n but it really didn't matter how they had v**ed.

They place so much importance on the phone call, like that got the whole thing going. But this was already in the works. And if they could put the NON-whistleblower under oath they would realize this for certain. Let's see what Sen. Graham ends up doing. He's been a lot of hot air (even though he backs Trump 100%)/ Let's see if he delivers.

In a way, that's a good thing because they don't want to look like Loonfest or a total i***t. You know, I can't spell the word "where" but I have an important opinion that is really sensible. I know I'm at the 3rd grade level of intellect, but hear me out.

Vindman was already privy to their efforts and when the phone call occurred it was just so opportunistic of him to make the claim Trump demanded and investigation in exchange for the military funding. I think Vindman took it too far in his claim, which they believed without even seeing the transcript of the call. they launched the whistle blower BS, commented on the complaint and then Trump released the transcript. I am sure they immediately went to Vindman and and asked for an explanation, thought they could drive with it and thus, continued the charade.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Graham to actually do something but who knows.

She had to be lying because POTUS can fire anybody for any or no reason. That Vindman (whichever it was) gave false testimony under oath is either a misdemeanor or felony so he was lucky to get off that lightly.

They all serve at the pleasure of the President. Like the line I hear the 'commissioner of NYC on 'Blue Bloods' say all the time.
