Fools like Pelosi know that NSC employees like the Vindman Brothers and Sondland 'serve at the pleasure of the President', period. Shows you how out of touch some of these people are. https://thefederalist.com/2020/02/11/why-trump-was-absolutely-right-to-boot-alex-vindman/

That "serve at his pleasure" makes them sound like fluffers.

The reality is that trump as senior executive, Government personnel has guidelines, and rules concerning reasons to let someone go. Yes the president can replace someone in a position, but he really can'[t or shouldn't interfere with someone's career in regards to time in service. Sondman is more of a direct appointment by a president, Vindman not so much, and he actually simply complied with a subpoena and told the t***h, not a crime indicating being terminated. But what was this pure crap about firing his brother for no reason except vindictiveness?

What is wrong with you people that you can't see a problem with petty anger and vindictiveness indicating serious impulse control issues? He is a president, not a spoiled rotten baby king that chops off the heads of anyone daring to disagree with him, or heaven forbid they follow the rules, law, and tell the t***h.

I'll bet you're an expert on "fluffers". How dumb of a statement that was. That just the common phrase that explains why presidents get to pick those who work for them. What a strange practice. If you were the CEO of a big company and you snuck out to have lunch at some local lunch counter, you overheard somebody knocking the company you worked so hard to at least keep afloat, you would want to see him gone also. You want people 100% in your corner. They've had big problems with Obama holdovers. Go figure.

This is a good article but why does everyone avoid the fact that Vindman lied under oath. He said, under oath, that the president "demanded" the Ukraine president investigate the Biden's, almost word for word. He was even questioned about how he came up with Trump making a "demand" of the Ukraine president to which he had some stupid claim that when a higher up requests a favor that it is to be considered a demand, thus his claim that Trump "demanded" something of the Ukraine president. The second I heard his "testimony" I knew Vindman was at the heart of this, if not being the whistle blower himself. And now observe Schummer wanting an investigation of "violations" of whistle blower protections, as if Vindman or his brother is the actual whistle blower, which they all claim not to know.

I would have escorted the two out myself and I would also have "demanded" a dishonorable discharge of Vindman. In fact, I would have my personal attorney slap lawsuits on both for slander.

Conservatives are tired of trying to play a legitimate game with Democrats who won't play by the rules. They want to always change the rules midstream to suit their purposes. We have had enough of it. In case you haven't noticed we are in an all-out culture war, only without the shooting (except for the few whack-a-do Democrats who like to commit mass k*****gs). War is hell, and to the victor go the spoils. There is no longer the option of going along to get along. In the past three years, the Democrats have made that apparent.

If I could no longer trust someone that I employed, I would fire them. I would assume that I could not trust a close relative as well. Trust IS important and even more so if one is president of the United States.

My exact point. I hear that expression all the time on "Blue Bloods" ~ "I serve at the pleasure of the mayor" And that's pretty much what these people are doing. Once the leader mayor or president is unhappy and doesn't feel you are 100% in his corner, time to go. His right to do wh**ever he wants.

Stuff it sonny. Obama bottom feeders will do anything to drill holes in the bottom of Trump's ship of state to try and sink it. He should rid his administration of every one of these subversive robots

Which was it that compelled Vindman to claim that Trump "demanded" the Ukraine president to investigate the Biden's??? Vindictiveness? Petty anger? Stupidity? H**e? Sour grapes? What exactly caused him to tell that lie under oath??????

Agree. If you are not on board 100%, take a hike. The holdovers from the Obama admin are nothing but t*****rs to the max who are out to destroy any good that Trump does. Everybody knows that. It's like they're still working for the guy who h**ed America behind the scenes.

I am sure that has something to do with it.
