Thank you Wolf, for admitting that you had not read the piece. It clearly showed in your posting.

BTW, having retired some years ago, I experience no bad days at work or fishing.

Usually, the title of a topic is what I tend to respond to.

Many of our posters like to submit long drawn out rambling paragraphs of way too much opinion and way too little points of interest.

My time is limited because during the week, such as right now, I'm at work and I toggle back and forth between duty and OPP and a plethora of news websites and YouTube and phone calls.

So I don't always take time to read through the mind clutter that most of these Goobers post.

I will however, take a look before I leap, the next time I respond to one of your threads.

Because I now see that your point of interest was actually a worthwhile read.

They have agendas and they need ratings/clicks so they hype it up. The US press now has the reputation of hyping up stories for effect. And I know there are some right leaning outlets but on one point, I don't think you'll ever see the right leaning press misquoting Trump to undo a lie and I haven't seen much since Obama where they did twist a comment into a lie to mislead. One good one was how the Obama h**ers twisted the "you didn't build that" comment.

obama lied consistently during his Presidency!!!

Please quote at least 100 factual lies from Obama.

This would go along way in dispelling the fact that our current president has made over 15,000 false or misleading statements to date.

The very first sentence of the article, P-R: "I am certain the more astute Trump supporters realize that Mr. Trump has a tendency to stretch the boundaries of believability, but they perceive this to be the norm for most politicians."

Unquestionably, many feel Mr. Obama fit into that "norm" for politicians.

Ummm...Trump is not a politician Slatt.

I read it like I read all your posts and as usual it was very interesting.
The answers to your post and the h**e sent your way show what's wrong with site .
And I have to admit I'm part of the problem after countless post that included links and information that could be easely verified .
I found those on the right and alt right are not interested in the t***h or facts ,they flat refuse to read!
The funniest times I have had is when I provided a video of trump himself saying it!
They start dancing and spinning and at times just go away,
I'm geting to the point that I might take a sabbatical from opp ,hopefully I'll be able to travel to Greece and Turkey this year!

That was a pretty poor choice of words on my part!
Thanks for pointing it out.

Perhaps I should have referred to statements by Obama that were demonstrably false.
