At least it’s a state function. If you don’t like it and you live in that state you have more say locally.

Also if you believe the education system is so bad in your state it’s much easier to move out of your state than the country.

While I agree that the STATES should be inn charge of their education, I still think HOME SCHOOLONG is the best way to go for many families, certainly for conservative and Christian ones.
