Well, you have a point there. But I see it more as a result of their elitist attitude and hunger for power. Congress needs to be forced to live by the same rules as everyone else; social security, medicare, no secret slush fund to pay off those who were sexually abused, and term limits might be in order. These are all things that need to be debated.

A teaching credential these days is a freaking joke. Actually it has been for a long time. I've met students with an A.A. degree from a junior college who would be natural teachers and could do a better job than most of the teachers we have now. I didn't go into teaching in a public school because of the politics in our school systems, which has progressively become worse. I would have never been able to keep the job through the probationary period without cussing out the administrators and anyone above them.
