It is a shame though. All kidding aside. You are an accomplished attorney with a great legal mind. I’m pretty successful myself. We live in this country and believe in the rule of Law and the Constitution. We have a distrust of big govt. or rather a bunch of bureaucrats who think they know better for us and ours than we do. We praise our God and believe in Individual rights. Yet, by virtue of v****g for Trump and being white we are marginalized as rubes by people who couldn’t carry our water.

I believe a lot of the 'class warfare' started with the great community organizer who spoke about many Americans (predominantly in the South and Midwest) who "they cling to guns or religion".

Followed closely by "deplorables" from hillary.

Barack Obama IMO is the worst thing to have happened to this country.

It is this very reason we are marginalized.. We pose the largest threat.. Anyone who thinks outside the realm of big government and independence is a threat...Their need to control and suppress us is by dismissing our successes... ( We didn’t build it, remember) Breaking big corporations that pay most of the wages, k*****g off Entrepreneurship any way they can and trying to make us all dependents of government.. Along with suppressing our first and second amendments to further silence us while silently trying to change if not nullify our Constitution.., E*******l College, as an example~~Or blatantly ignoring the laws on the books to fundamentally change America, i*****l i*********n as an example or out of the blue sanctuary status cities..WTH???

They rule by lies and omission and Have little to no more principals and worse, we tolerate it..That is to say until T***p w*n the e******n... They have tried removing him since because they now know more people are fed up with this criminal hill gang of sleeze..Both sides I may add. (Romney, Bush, etc)

No more societal respect, personal respect or solidity in supporting our country and laws its becoming an all out Free for all and blame of the successful “ w****s” Who are now the problem~~~ pppfffftt...
my reply to that~~ sorry for you<<Smile on as I go about doing what I do knowing I am not the cause and life offers so much more than their pitiful lives.. (Karma ) As do you ever so well~~🌹✨Aren’t we lucky~~😉😉 it also pisses them off more for it...

They have to because in reality it is they who feel inferior which is a shame.. A little self confidence goes a long way.. Its like the ones in here that have to resort to name calling as if that makes them superior ... what it does is show how much they lack self confidence... As well as making a fool of themself~~

Sorry to disagree, but liberals do not have feign superiority to hide inferiority. While there are some liberals who might argue that way (you don't understand), it's not a necessity. Liberalism in the US stands on its own....we have a long, proud history.

Besides, the superiority/inferiority argument cuts both ways. How many times are liberals told, here on OPP, that they are simply too dumb to understand? Myriads. Am I to deduce that comes from conservative feelings of inferiority?

As for the topic....one gets the same message when engaging Fox News except in the other direction.
I simply don't see the issue as important....just another manifestation of the 'outrage of the day'.

Unfortunately, the long proud history that you refer to is just that - history. The term "liberal" has been hijacked by radical l*****t - who also now control the democrat party. The sooner true liberals can regain control of the democrat party, the sooner it will be possible to be a viable political party.

Sigh. Partially we Conservatives are at fault. At least in my case. I do not equate old time liberalism with the left. Which is what we are mostly dealing with. Obviously you don’t watch much Fox News. As many Democrats on there as Republicans. You are just clueless if you don’t thing these elitist lefties don’t think they are superior in every way. Much of the original liberal thinking of old would now be seen as Conservative. A perfect example is Alan Dershowitz. He is a classic liberal who I have always respected and rarely agreed with. He is being savaged now by the left because he dared to stick to his liberal core values.

We are a viable political party. Your premise is false. The American 'left' is actually pretty centrist, and not history. Liberals will v**e for candidates who oppose President Trump and his policies, and it will frustrate Trump supporters to no end.
As a 'true' liberal (btw, what makes you think you get to decide who is a true liberal?), I don't look toward the President or his supporters to validate what I think.

Thank you for your reply..
Relative to your first paragraph we all have our opinion.~~ democracy at its finest..

On your second~~ agreed

On your third, perhaps that was the case yet h**e and divide and manifested by the left wing lyen media during BO and certainly in full throttle during Trumps run first time around..
Exactly why I don’t watch any of them or believe any of them... Makes vetting of their stories near impossible anymore...

I do see it as a large issue~~ One that is tearing down the very foundation of our country and democracy.... Inexcusable when all for power..Referring to both parties too..

Again....calling me clueless .

I don't watch Fox News...you are correct. But then I don't watch ANY tv news...not CNN, MSNBC, nor any other network. I read the news, including Fox on line articles, and the articles referenced here on OPP.

One thing I have observed is that when it comes to smugness about 'the other side' liberals don't have a corner on the market. But what do I know...I'm clueless.

We will have to agree to disagree - The 'left' is not centrist- it is radical leftism. Look to the 'liberals' of 1960 - John Kennedy and Hubert Humphrey.

I can decide who is a true liberal by the same authority that you can define l*****t as 'centrists'.

There was an if with the clueless. So it is yourself that determined that you are clueless. At least about Fox.
