Subpoena on Bolton what changed that they now want him again?? Or why Bolton said he would testify if given a subpoena, yet they still didn’t bring him in?? Maybe as you say they didn’t really trust him to begin with??

As we discussed earlier, I still think its for show to bolster their impeachment, knowing its weak and hoping the republicans don't allow him to testify now so it looks like a cover up..??

I don't see people being willing to speak out with the t***h as anything but there coming a time when people do that. I personally think those who with trump are as credible as it gets, they leave trump for reasons or get fired because they disagreed with him.

Trump had his very top echelon advisers and chiefs trying to get him to stop with his withholding of aid, when the heads of the pentagon, intelligence, and your chief of staff meet with an intent to convince you to stop doing something and you don't, you deserve to be impeached...there is something deeply disturbing and wrong about a president not listening to intelligence and advice that happens to be good.

Bolton is not going to lie under oath, he just won't.

Why would Bolton be participating in the Impeachment trial?
The dimocrats said they had a locked tight case.

According to the New York ( Democrat) Times-Rag, the manuscript implies that Trump did discuss a quid pro quo two weeks or month that before the White House Ukraine call . The possibility. The consequences. Chewing the day with key advisers.

But discussing anything with staff does not mean Trump is committed to any course of action. And Trump has said that he tests the doings and decisions out using conversation.

But Trump does not play by the Eisenhower rulebook. Policy seen from space. He doesn't used the Clinton freewheeling way. Or Kennedy's or Obama's. His style is to play devil's advocate and examine a deal from all sides.
Trump is allowed to test which advisors are giving him the scoop. Telling Bolton, hey I want to see if they really are debunking corruption as much as they say..

Trump's purpose is clear:

To elicit qualified and expert analysis from senior staff.

I think the real blowback from the Ukraine call was that all the apparatchiks pretending to have the President's ear got shown up.
And those likely to depend on foreign service careers and policy effecting aftercareers saw their money revenues go up in smoke.
