Instead of creating a Strawman to say it matters why don't you create something factual to explain why Trump withheld info and witnesses from the house. As is, even if Republicans refuse to convict him it won't exonerate Trump because no one would have appeared to clear his name.

Over 70% of Americans want more witnesses to testify. Right now only 51% of Americans want Trump impeached but what would happen if more people testify and paint the president as guilty? That's why McConnell doesn't want more testimony and I don't think that will escape the majority of Americans.

Your man is a turd and you can try to protect him all you want but the stench he emits is something you can't coverup or continue to hide. Trump may be reprieved by the Republicans but don't be glib and think he and those who saved him will escape the retribution of the American people!

Lying to the FISA judge is, I believe, illegal. The IG referred to the 17 mistakes on the FISA app's but Durham has criminal referrals on some involved. We shall see.

If it turns out that the FISA warrants were obtained illegally then some of the info used to nail Cohen and Manifort becomes inadmissible and their cases will be thrown out and could possible not be eligible for retrial.

Trump invoked executive privilege like alll previous presidents. The dem's could have taken it to court but chose not to in their haste to impeach before the e******n. They never even subpoenaed Bolton but rather invited him to testify in deposition. He chose not to go since he wasn't subpoenaed. Trump had nothing to do with that.

There is much that you Trump h**ers deny or turn away from that your dear Obama did but with Trump, oh no, that's impeachable. Don't deny the hypocrisy. It's palpable.

I can understand not liking Trump but the dem's are going so out into left field to stop him that they are literally defying the constitution, lying out the wazoo and making fools of themselves, just like they did with their attempts to block the appointment of Kavanaugh. You know it. I know it.

The next few months are not going to offer the left much in the way of satisfaction and I feel for you but y'all have brought it upon yourselves. The unhinged democrats are burying themselves, literally and you can see that I'll wager too!!

Vindman is a prime example of the left's total garbage. One could not make up something so d********g if they wanted to.

Trump didn't invoke executive privilege, he's simply refusing to cooperate with Democrats. And thirteen people did defy Trump. Those are the ones who appeared before the house. As for Bolton, he said he would only answer a subpoena by the Senate, but wouldn't answer one by the House. Had the House subpoenaed him it would have taken a year or more before all legal recourse was exhausted which is why the House didn't subpoena him. So where are you getting your news from? Surely they told you all that, didn't they? If not then I would suggest you get your news elsewhere because who you are getting it from isn't telling you what is going on.

Republicans controlled the house and the senate for 6 of Obama's 8 years. If there was any possibility of impeaching Obama they would have, with all certainty, impeached him. That they didn't mean's they never had anything to impeach him on.

You people chased Obama for 8 years and had ZERO to chase him on. McConnell, only two weeks in, swore that he would make Obama a one-term president.

Now understand, when Obama took office we were in the depth of one of the deepest recessions in our history and the only thing on Conservative minds was getting rid of the man in the White House. The majority of people aren't waiting for the next report to be the one to finally prove all the conspiracy theories that you believe in. And here's a poll was done by Fox News that the nation wants Trump impeached 50% to 44% and the majority of independents want Trump gone altogether. I mention this to counter your notion that Democrats have made a major mistake!

Put these people in jail for crimes, it does not change trump's problems in regard to what they have done. People get prosecuted, put in jail when things surrounding impeachments get revealed. The impeachment is about violations of the law that should be resulting in multiple DOJ prosecutions.

In our case it was incorrectly sent to the AG first because supposedly they thought there might be issues about executive privilege....which by the way the house is fully capable of determining.

The whistleblower has legal cutouts, and guarantees of confidentiality and anonymity. This genie is out of the bottle, and nothing makes what trump or his minions do go away. People quit career jobs because they were not going to get caught up in trump's illegal games, and that includes Bolton.
