Not to argue, and I can see cheaper wines having gluten, but I used to make wine and it had 4 ingredients...grape juice, sugar, water, and yeast. Do they ad the gluten? If so, why?

I don't know if they add gluten or not.
I really don't see a reason for it to be in there myself.
My daughter in law researches the food she eats and she found the information.
I just posted and decided to see why.
So I edited this.
Gluten can get into wines during firing.
That process is to remove impurities.

I'd like to ask you to conduct an experiment and see if you have the same result that I have had.

The basic premise of this experiment evolved from a debilitating health issue that I experienced that was misdiagnosed about 7 years ago.

I suggested this experiment to my uncle who is now 76 years old and had recently began the daily use of oxygen and nebulizer treatments.

Remarkably, after two months he no longer requires either the oxygen or the nebulizer.

I now believe this experiment will help anyone who is overweight, or older people who feel sluggish and low energy, anyone who has been diagnosed with COPD, and people who suffer from arthritis.

I believe that many ( not all ) people that suffer from these issues are actually being poisoned by the food they are consuming.

So the experiment starts with eliminating all wheat based products from your diet.

That may sound simple but you'd be surprised at the complexity of that effort.

So many of the delicious foods we love are made with wheat as an ingredient.

You'll have to quit consuming everything from bread to beer to pasta and even gravy.

Along with wheat you must discontinue eating commercial beef products of any kind.

Especially any processed beef.

I have come to learn the hard way that for me, wheat and commercial beef is literally poisonous.

So even if you are in general good health, try this for thirty days cold turkey.

After thirty days I am inclined to guarantee you that you'll feel so much better that you just might become interested in researching the food industry.

I tell you from experience friends, and without going into the explicit details, we are being poisoned.

So just try it for thirty days.

Nothing made with wheat and no commercial beef.

Wheat I know is bad for you-gluten. Beef I'm thinking of my wife who had to give up gluten and her jaws "got tired" when she was eating beef. So yeah I think that will work, it has for her. I'll give it a shot too.

Of course, you are this is also why our children are coming up with ADHD/wh**ever. Because of Monsanto the seeds they sell are GMO(genetically modified) they are CREATED with pesticides inside the seed to keep them bug-free and most don't produce their own seeds so farmers need to keep reordering this means the food you eat have pesticides in it this also means our cattle are eating it with the grain they're given besides the hormones to bulk them up and the ANTIBIOTIC to keep them infection-free also our milk falls into this as well. The only way you can truly get away is to grow your own from non-GMO seed or join a group that buys from farmers who have range-fed beef and chicken they also grow veg they sell milk so they are kind of a one-stop shopping. People are finding that changing their diet for their kids often stops many of the problems they are having. Your post wolf counselor is very good and would benefit many thanks for posting

When dealing with a corporation you can expect the bottom line is money they are snapping up even nursing homes they cut all departments down to almost nothing. They could care less about employee's find ways to drive them off and have agency who they don't have to pay for benefits and no raises. The business suffers because the agency employees don't care they will only do what they have to and no more. There is no loyalty. My wish for those who practice money first and only that they enjoy their ride with that dollar sign strapped between their legs all the way into hell

Good luck with that.
GMO cross pollination is getting harder and harder to avoid.
We manage it by making sure that our crops are different than those grown by our neighbors.
Monsanto came knocking about 5 years back. Successfully blocked them from testing seeds because their crap was at least a mile away. They’ve been bought out by Bayer after the Roundup cases.
I would be a Trump fan for life if his USDA banned RR (Roundup Ready) crops. They’re causing all kinds of problems because of the weeds that they have caused. (One mans crop is another mans weed)

You do not mention Celiac Disease, a permanent auto-immune, nutrient malabsorption disorder that is caused by a reaction to gluten, a group of proteins found in wheat, rye and barley, and any byproduct containing any one of them.

There is no cure, however symptoms are alleviated by maintaining a strictly gluten-free diet.

There may be classic, mild or absent gastrointestinal symptoms, a wide number of symptoms involving any part of the body or no obvious symptoms. Celiac disease may develop at any age. It is associated with other autoimmune diseases, such as diabetes mellitus type 1 and thyroiditis, among others.

I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease nine years ago.

Eliminating all wheat, rye and barley from my diet has meant consuming none of the following foods:

bread
bagels
biscuits
buns
cereals
pancakes
waffles
rolls
muffins
cookies
scones
noodles
macaroni
spaghetti
pasta
dumplings
cake
pie
breaded fried foods
gravy
cream sauces
cream soups

or much of anything else worth consuming.

Processed foods are also on a forbidden list, due to it's high salt content, but I have been given no reason not to eat beef, and anyone who tried to remove anything remaining on my list of permissible edibles would lose a hand!

This type of testing can, if more than 1% of the sample is a GMO seed, result in claims of patent infringement. Should this be the case the farmer has to either dispose of all their seed or face civil liability for patent violation.

I already replied.
I looked it up.
Gluten is created by the firing process they use to remove the impurities.
I went and asked why gluten is in wine.
That's the answer that I found.
