I would add dairy products to your list(except possibly butter). Interesting that humans are the only animal to drink milk after weaning. Cows milk is designed for a 45lb calf, not a 160 lb adult human.

Dairy is fine IF the products are from raw milk - not pasteurized and not homogenized. That's what we had as children. Now there are a lot of people who are lactose intolerant but often if they drink or consume dairy products made with raw milk there is no problem.

Humans are the only animals to do a lot of things. Lol

Avoiding gluten is good too. Its amazing how many products use it as a filler.

It probably does since it's a grain alcohol.

Tequila just doesn't sit right...

Used to like gin... But it betrayed my trust....

Running out of option here...

Read about a gluten free beer a few months back...

I'm a conservative

I used to think I liked gin, but really didn't.
I used to buy Jose Cuervo silver.
I've even had a bottle of that nasty mascale in the cabinet.

Yep...

The older I get the less tolerant I am of alcohol...

Used to be I just drank what was in the glass...

How come wine has gluten in it?

I am looking for articles... But with little enthusiasm

I'm not sure why it does.
My daughter in law is gluten intolerant and she told me about it.
I had no idea wine had it either.
I thought the grapes just fermented.
She has to read the ingredients in every thing she cooks.
That's also how I know about soy sauce.
It gets a little annoying to take stuff to cook at their house.
I have to let her read the items in everything before I can add it .

Hmmm...

My best friend's wife is gluten intolerant... But she drinks wine...

I wonder if she is aware...

I will continue to look into this...

Am considering trying Wolf's challenge

I know my daughter in law poured a glass and 3 sips later she was sick .
I don't eat much to begin with .
I really don't like bread and sweet stuff.
If I pig out, its potato chips.
I believe I'll continue on with how I eat.
Maybe your friend doesn't realize the wine bothers her.
I can't eat eggs and it took a long time to realize when we always ate Chinese coming home from the lake, i got deathly sick.
Egg drop soup.
I can't drink milk either.
If it's in gravy, chocolate ice cream or gravy, the composition changes and I'm fine.
My mom told me I quit drinking milk when I was 6 months old.
I can understand why I break bones a lot.

I don't know if she has issues with the wine.. I'll have to ask...

I love eggs... Five or six a day...

Can't drink cows milk...

And I don't like sugar....

But I too have a weakness for potato chips..
Only buy them once a month.. If that...

Absolutely no self-control

I love chips and green chili dip.
I used to just eat a bag a day and no food.
That's sounds awful, but it was me and 6 dogs.
Potato chips, 1 soda a day, and 1 tea.
I'm surprised I have energy to move.
I don't have self control with cigarettes and I h**e that.

I used to smoke...

Never had trouble stopping...

Usually did in the winter...

But western cigarettes are very different from the Asian ones... I've never seen anyone nicking out here...

I stopped permanently when my daughter was born... Look forward to her going to university so I can start again

I've done the children thing as well...

Don't know how you can drink soda... Unless you mean soda water... I like that...

I used to drink Coca Cola all day.
Had to quit because of ulcers.
Years later 3 or 4 Dr. Peppers a day.
Now I drink 1 Sunkist Orange a day .
It's just the cigarettes I have a problem with.
I figure it's cigarettes or nerve pills.
I don't like to take medication.

You are right, essentially follow the diet that Michelle Obama encouraged our school children to eat. Mostly vegetables, fruit and grain along with lean protein, and above all avoid processed foods. A far better program than that encouraged by the folks getting rich poisoning you.

And did she say eat that diet?
