Please, stop. There is no need for this to go on. It has no value for anyone, and, personally, I find it rudely offensive! :!:

I have thought a national sales tax would get every citizen rich or poor involved. There is a form of property tax that taxes landowners on the value of their land. Structures are not included but land has different values depending on location. The land owner may pass this burden onto the tenant however they have the responsibility of paying the tax. There are different methods of taxation that could be considered more fair. I am one who Pays taxes and never sees a refund. Yes the refund system seems like a give away. one guy who worked for me got a refund each year of over $7000 and that was claiming all dependands so not a lot was taken from him. He is no longer in my employ as haveing kids was more profitable to him than working. People like him need to be working not waiting for child credits each year.

I have known people who "play" with the dependent thing. To my knowledge, throughout the year they claim fewer dependents so that more taxes are withheld. When filing their tax return they then utilize the full number of dependents they have. Some people consider this an enforced savings plan so that when their "refund" comes in, they then have the money to purchase that large item they wanted.

To be t***hful, it is during tax refund time when those "large items" do go on sale.

fom, the "rich" pay most of the taxes. the top 10% pay around 85% of the taxes. The next 40% pay around 15%. What is a "fair share?" Almost 50% of the people in this country pay none. What is fair about that? They enjoy all the rights and privileges, but someone else has to pony up for it. The Federal Government has collected more money from taxes the past 3 years than ever before, and the deficit still keeps going up. You could confiscate every dime the "rich" made last year, and it would run the government for about 3 weeks. There isn't enough money in the country to support the way these bastards spend it.

It is abject bulls**t to say half of the people in the country pay no taxes, a kid buying a 2 dollar kite at the five and dime pays taxes. And if you took every dime from the top two percent in the nation it would pay the entire debt with cash left over. Our nation and more importantly our middle clas was most prosperous when we had a graduated tax rate with very high tax rates at the top margins, powerful unions with a high percentage of labor belonging to those unions, loads of federal cash being poured into public works projects like the interstate highway system and TVA, and strict tariffs on imports from nations that did not share our values. We have a sound model of how to improve our economy, we just need to follow it.

I never said I was a birther, and impeachment is impossible with the current House and Senate, no matter how many crimes are committed. Clinton, contrary to Democrat apologists, was not impeached for getting little on the side. One look at Hillary the Harridan is enough for understanding. He was impeached for lying to a Grand Jury. Obama has a litany of broken promises, which are not impeachable. Fast and Furious, with all the pertinent and damning evidence conveniently covered by a blanket of Executive Privilege, constitutes a criminal offense, at least for Eric Holder and The BATFE Agents involved. B******i probably holds some impeachable material. The IRS targeting, which Liberals are calling a tempest in a teapot, is, like Fast and Furious, suffering from a convenient lack of evidence that just happened to disappear at the most opportune time. The Republicans will probably take back the Senate this year, definitely in 2016, but they will not have the super majority necessary for conviction. It is not enough to have a simple majority.
Talk of impeachment is blowing smoke, because the reality is it will never happen with this Congress. I might add, with a Republican majority in both houses, you can watch the vetoes fly. THEN who is the obstructionist?

Yep you are on to something about vetos if the Republicans control the Senate also. This party bulls--t is screwing us big time. There should be a lottery drawn to get our public officials. You get drafted into service and serve One term. no pension. then the next citizen gets drafted.

I am going to call you again on language. Here let me help you. Try feces. This is beginning to wear my patience. I do not have infinite patience.

Now....finished that rant.

I actually very much like your idea of a lottery. In fact, our Founding Fathers believed in citizen legislators who would serve and return home. Odd that such an idea would come from a (just have to do this. You aggravated me!) liberal. You all normally want total control. :D

Oh feces sorry agin auntiE Shoot I ain't no liberal just a citizen.I get tired of the my way or the hiway types. I am the President of my local road district. Yes I am an elected public official. I have a long standing arguement with the vice president who wants to use the dirtiest 3/4 minus rock in the county because he says it sets up like cement. He lost the arguement last year and he is at it again. He will loose again this year and be mad at me . He hired the cheapest road grader he could and I told him no way ever again after the grader operator had 20 yards of base rock spread where he was specifically told not to put it.POlitics suck I know in my own small way.
