Couple...as in two??? That would still leave the GOP 11 or 12 v**es short...not even close...no cigar...not even the ash.

Just curious, care to name the "couple of Dems" likely to cross over?

Still waiting to hear the names of those Democratic cross-overs. Still hearing that chirping of crickets...

The Republicans could hold the majority of both houses after the Nov. e******n. They still apparently will never have the numbers for conviction and removal upon impeachment. 54 senators cannot remove a sitting president.

The founders deliberately did not make it easy to cancel out p**********l e******n results. This is why no president has ever been convicted and removed from office.

This impeachment talk underscores the streak of "sore loserism" that runs through the GOP. It has been glaringly apparent since Nov., 2008.

Ok chew on this Right now there are 51 Democrats 47 Republicans 2 Independents. Sense your such a lover of Polls Polls suggest Republicans will pick up 6 seats Republicans 53 Democrats 45. Republican Majority. Obama is a dead in the water. Why if it comes to a v**e Republicans will pull a Harry and v**e simple majority. They may not get v**es to impeach but will be able to charge him criminally. and a Felon cannot be be President.

Mr. Only, What will happen next. This group of delegates who have no political power, will mail the documents to the men in congress, some gopher will fasten the papers together neatly, put them in a folder and put the folder into a file cabinet where they will be gathering a bit dust for 200 yrs or more. That is how much power state delegates have at the federal level.. FYI, delegates have no state power of any sort. They are cheer leaders for those elected men and women who hold office..

Sadly you are very misinformed. But par for the course...what they have v**ed for goes to the Congressional Membership of their State to be placed onto a calendar for the approval of having the House debate or v**e. Given the current trend that if any polls or wide spread media is really accurate at all...the people of the United States of America are all done being screwed with by a MUSLIM pile of crap calling himself President Obama...and the Congressman of my District has already emailed those that have v**ed for him, he intends to make sure that debate and a v**e takes place...Obama is all done now...slowly but with certainty he is going to be forced to leave the White House and maybe start a new life...or be shot...but I think his new life will suit him better...a CRASH TEST DUMMY.

Nothing to be sore anything...you may have sores now..from being dicked up into by your Kenyan King...but hey you love that mans penis...that's on (and in) you.

The evidence against Obama is so massive, to bring it all before a hearing will take some real effort to do so...a crane will be needed to carry it all in.

Seems like the worse the hard right can make things seem the more the righties lap it up. T***h is not exciting to them. There must be sensational headlines to get them going. Lots of words like C*******t and Socialist season the recipe quite nicely.

Obama deserves impeachment and worse. So does Eric Holder, perhaps more than Obama. Harry Reid deserves a prison term. None of this will happen, even with a Republican majority. Why? Because there are more RINOs than DINOs. Do not forget the handful of Republican Senators who refused to upset the applecart during the Clinton proceedings.

This may seem a bone to the right wings nut on the forum, but read to the end and see Wheelers comment. Not much in the article but gives an idea of how foolish the demands for impeachment can become..

The South Dakota Republican Party has passed a resolution at its state convention that calls for the impeachment of President Barack Obama.

The Argus Leader reports the resolution says Obama has "violated his oath of office."

The resolution cites the release of five Taliban combatants in a trade for captive U.S. soldier Bowe Bergdahl and the president's statement that people could keep their health insurance companies. It also cites recent Environmental Protection Agency regulations on power plants.

It calls on the state's U.S. Representatives to start impeachment proceedings against the president.

Allen Unruh of Sioux Falls sponsored the resolution.

Delegate David Wheeler of Beadle County disagreed.

Wheeler said before the v**e that the delegates would look petty if they passed it.

Delegates v**ed 191-176 in favor of the resolution.

Petty and foolish? Really? Deliberately encouraging the invasion of the United States by another country, Mexico. Deliberately freeing the 5 worst Middle Eastern enemies of the People of The United States after our soldiers were K**LED in their capture. Deliberately using the Internal Revenue Service to attack the opposing political party, deliberately lying about his health service plan.

Petty?
Right Wing nuts?

Is this a serious topic you posted or are you just starving for attention? You don't offer anything here except an invitation to fight with you. Don't you have better things to do? Like watch your goldfish swim? Talk about a pointless, worthless topic.

Mr. Sheep, Petty? That is what GOP delegate wheeler called it.
Right wing nuts? You are all right wing nuts, as I am a left wing nut..
Do I have better thing to do? Without question.
Watching this forum for 11 month or so, on the first day, I was amazed at all the posts calling for President Obamas impeachment. After nearly a year, nothing has changed, A GOP delegate authours a petition to impeach President Obama. How worthless and foolish can they be.
After all this time, can`t the right wing find something better to do?

Such a pointless, worthless topic...

What progressives are searching for will not be found in C*******m, or Socialism. What they seek is an unattainable form of Utopian Feudalism, wherein the Lord of the Manor, (hereinafter known as "fief holder" ), bestows largesse on all and sundry from an unknown yet inexhaustible and inexplicably unfailingly benevolent source.

Impeachment will never happen. Tea partiers wanted impeachment from day one. I quit the Republican party because of this . Guess I'm a RINO.

fom-if suggestion of impeachment caused you to leave the republican party you were probably a democrat in disguise. The primary goal of the Tea Party is fiscal responsibility. They simply feel that there are enough tax dollars sent to Washington,D.C. already and that those dollars are mis-spent.
I happen to agree wholeheartedly with that assessment. All democrats and Independents who do not agree are free to send in as much extra money as they want to the treasury. Obama has clearly committed illegal acts as presidents but the democrats feel it is OK because he is one of them. Were he a Republican his crimes would be front page headlines and TV Breaking news on a daily basis and everyone would be clamoring for his resignation. Thus the difference between loyalty to party versus loyalty to country. Good Luck America !!!
