To attempt to start a second round of impeachment proceedings just a few months before an e******n--an e******n in which American v**ers will be able to choose who they want sitting in the oval office--will be political suicide because what they would really be saying loud and clear and convincingly is that they believe the American v**ers to be too stupid to make the right choice. That they know what is best for us.

The very best they can hope for now is that their sleazy, underhanded, elaborate plan to take over the Senate will work. They believe Trump will get elected again because they have no one who can beat him. ANd their only hope of stopping him from fulfilling his agenda is to get a majority in both HOR and Senate. I think Schiff may have have truly shot himself in the foot by saying, on the Senate floor, as part of his opening argument, that he “heard” a rumor that Republican Senators were warned if they didn’t v**e against impeachment they’d have their heads on a pike; which caused them all to deny it. I think he may have permanently alienated even the swing v**ers on that one. He definitely revealed his true substance: all he has is hearsay, and he doesn’t have the sense not to run presumptions up the f**g pole. What a dangerous man to justice.
