You are right. Even in my neck of the woods we have some high standards. Local control is much better than a bunch of bureaucrats.

Companies have been buying up water rights all over the world. Some day we will all have to pay more for every drop of water we use than we do for gasoline.

And as our highways and bridges fail and our power grid is vulnerable to hackers ,he will say well done.
As always LW, your comments demand a rebuttal. The only $#!+ holes in the USA I'm aware of are Democrat governed cities like SF, LA, Chicago, Baltimore, et al.

And as for infrastructure, the President isn't able to sign a bill that doesn't exist, since the HOR is too busy impeaching him to do the job they were v**ed into office to do. So blaming him for that is just dumb.

And he HAS issued executive orders for some infrastructure components:

That would be a legitimate beef, if it weren't for the fact that Mitch is simply emulating his predecessor, Senator Robert Byrd when he was the senate majority leader. I'm not a fan of the strategy. If a bill is good for the country (and not just pork or partisan bull-cookies) then it should be v**ed on and either passed or tossed into the dumpster.

It's a National tragedy that humpty dumpty hasn't hired a single person that knows what the &#$% they're doing.[/quote

WINNING!!! The Obama EPA rule was an unconstitutional land grab.
The Trump EPA is changing the rules so that mud puddles and t***sient drainage ditches are no longer considered to be 'navigable waterways.'
WINNING!!!

They have ways of cleaning water to pure. Many cities in CA are now recycling water through purification processes because their allotment from the MWD and Colorado River has been curtailed and wells are producing less. But it is safe to drink, unlike places like Flint Michigan. I have a reverse osmosis system on my tap water which tastes better than bottled water. Carlsbad has a de-salinization plant that turns out good drinking water.

The worst part is the Tijuana River that as the name implies starts in Mexico and flows across the border to the ocean through Imperial Beach, San Diego County. The filth is incredible and after every good rain, the beaches have to be closed for at least three days because of high bacteria levels. These are the problems the EPA should be working on!

The EPA poisoned the Animus river in Colorado, the measures being repealed were allowing the EPA to claim dry river beds as being under their control. I don't live in a large city, but I know for a fact that farmers aren't going to contaminate their own crops or livestock. The government is seldom the answer.

The city people don't have a clue about agriculture and rural water. They just believe what the F**E NEWS tells them.
