The use of the simile in pointing out that "the nearly 400 bills passed by democrats sitting on McConnell's desk while republicans scream Do Nothing Democrats" was in direct proportion to the topic. If you want to be technical, we could say we've had "f**e news" since the Garden of Eden. The point is, not until this time, have we had a president who so blatantly and generously resorts to "f**e news" to either hide a mistake or deny the t***h.
