You seem to get your jollies attacking others you know to be different from you. Now, if I had responded to your post with; "you don't need to guess - your wife knows very well what kind of man I am..." you would be ready to fight wouldn't you?

Jedi!
Quit bending over for all the wrong people and reasons.
Be a real Christian.

I need to take just a moment and say "thank you" bdamage (<is that short for brain damage?) for your continued efforts to derail my Christian beliefs. Each day I come here with the hope of gaining insight and a better understanding of how the republican mind works. Each day, you remind me through your insults and pettiness just how low the nation has sunk.
You truly challenge me with your juvenile wit to try and remain cordial, when it would actually be so very easy to destroy you. I would rather compromise, stay positive, and seek unity -and its obvious that your only concern is the exact opposite. So, until I see some mature posts from you - I will no longer respond to your child like posts....good day to you!

Well I really like it when a plan comes together.

"Being" a real Christian requires more than most are willing to give....one such requirement is turning a deaf ear to those who would attack, blame, and insult you for having the nerve to seek to imitate Christ. And yes, I can attest that "turning the other cheek" is one of the most difficult things for me to do.

Those who don't really know Christ will not be able to discern those of us who seek to do His will. Yet, we are compelled to do His will and not that of our own -much easier said than done - but with serious effort and help from the Holy Spirit - I am getting better doing so each day....how about you?

Dealing with airheads, claiming to be Christian, may be a short coming of mine.

Don't forget; "you by yourself can do nothing..." It is only through Christ working within you that you are able to accomplish anything.

So, yes, dealing with airheads is part of doing the will of Christ. It is not always easy, and is often downright unpleasant, yet, it is always necessary because it takes all kinds to make a world.

I wonder, Jedi?
If you quit chasing your tail, and quit going in circles, you may learn something about going after evil, and not joining it.

I am able to admit my mistakes. I am always a work in progress -learning more and more each day. I accept my personal shortcomings and eschew evil while always working to be better. What claim can you make about yourself that no one would know from reading your posts?

"I am able to admit my mistakes."
Then act on that.

"I am always a work in progress"
Lets hope so.
I am.

"learning more and more each day."
I am here to help you with that.

"I accept my personal shortcomings"
That would be a good start.

"and eschew evil"
Synonyms

eschew: avoid, dodge, duck, elude, escape, evade, finesse, get around, escape, shake, shirk, shuffle (out of), shun, weasel (out of)
You better get a better handle on reality.

"while always working to be better"
I hope you really try to do that.

"What claim can you make about yourself that no one would know from reading your posts?"

I am humble.

Amazing that I asked you about yourself and 99% of your response is what you think about me....and then you end with "you are humble." Well, if you say so.....I humbly could not agree though.

I wish that you and eagleye13 would take your discussion to the PM area where the rest of us would be spared your senseless bantering on here. Just a suggestion is all.

A point worth considering...…..

But I think our "senseless bantering" may be useful to someone.
