It's part of their Agenda 21.
Thank God Hillary lost or we'd be there.

It's been unfolding for a few decades now. In Washington state there where hundreds of sites anyone could camp, fish next to rivers and lakes. All have been road blocked, gated, with no access.
California has been removing land owners off their land and most recently did so with several thousand acres in Northern California.
Oregon State has followed these absurdities.
I can only verify these states having lived and traveled them. The goal has been to push rural living into large cities, even small towns and cities into large cities.

I remember when they were in Big Spring.
People were getting yanked out of their cars and questioned.
I had to be on the road going by there a lot and it was creepy.
Supposedly the terrain matched the terrorist terrain. I don't think so.
I saw a few odd things myself.

Very interesting there NPP but does the left realize that no one actually owns all of these houses and that the state is the actual owner of said property as it is. We all pay rent to the state for our homes as it is and that rent ins in the form of property taxes. If one who "owns a home" forgets or can't afford their property taxes for one year guess what happens to your home? The state kicks you out of the home and takes over possession and you are out in the cold. I believe that every state in the union has property taxes so then very state owns all of the property. That means their are fifty property owners in the United States as it is.

Good post.
Yes indeed, not one person in America owns his/her land or house as long as you have a property tax bill sent to your house. North Dakota almost did away with property tax's about 4 years ago but got blasted from 49 states for the idea.

Progressives who want to combat “c*****e c****e” aren’t just proposing increased government control over people’s eating and travel habits. Now, they want to target home ownership.

In a recent op-ed printed by far-left magazine The Nation, UCLA Assistant Professor of Urban Planning Kian Goh states that people need to “seriously question the ideal of private home ownership” due to the need to “keep cities safe in the face of c*****e c****e”.

The assistant professor goes on to assert that the world only has twelve years to contain g****l w*****g, and that people who think that living in a single-family home in a suburban area is a good idea need to rethink their ideas of success, comfort, and home.

The op-ed would be laughable if it isn’t for the fact that there are plenty of far-left activists who actually believe any of it is based on actual facts. However, it follows the same logic that Democratic lawmakers are acting on.

In Virginia, new legislation currently being considered by the state legislature would essentially end single-family-only zoning, allowing duplexes to be built on any plot of land. While the bill is being pitched by some supporters as a way to end “segregation”, others are stating that it is an environmentally-friendly bill that would allow for extra housing to be built near public t***sport facilities.

Naturally, the wishes of homeowners who would lose green areas of land and peaceful, quiet, safe neighborhoods aren’t actually important. Neither are the concerns of those who want to own their own house on their own tract of land because such desires are apparently not “eco-friendly” in today’s woke world.

In fact, Kian Goh goes further than any state legislature has in the past, advocating for a wide range of government-controlled housing options that no one in their right mind would find attractive. The assistant professor advocates for rental housing, but on the absurd condition that it would be “de-linked from wealth creation.” In other words, landlords can buy houses and rent them out as long as they don’t make money from doing so.
Scientists: A "Salt" works better than top drug for diabetes

Public housing is yet another option presented to the masses, without regard for the fact that government involvement in private business never turns out well for average individuals. This ideal is currently being backed by Rep. Ilhan Omar, who recently proposed a “Housing for All Act” that would require the U.S. government to spend a whopping $1 trillion on public housing.

Cooperative housing is yet another option to pick from, because being forced to live with random people is just great in a world where people are being increasingly conditions to look out for “microaggressions.”

Home ownership used to be a widely-accepted idea as sensible people on both sides of the aisle understood the importance of having a place to call home. Sadly, that is no longer the case. Progressives are eager to “level the playing field” by making life miserable for anyone who happens to have the money to buy their own home in a suburban area.

Far-left activists on one hand proclaim that “housing is a right,” while at the same time making it clear that “housing” doesn’t mean one’s own home — but rather a government-owned space you have no control over.

And they will undo it.
California is over a Trillion dollars in debt combined with massive retirement programs.
Californians have been fleeing the toilet they created to other states and those same i***ts are trying to turn the states they fled to into the same high regulations, high taxation toilets they fled from. Mindless dark i***ts......l*****t.

================
That is a prelude to socialism. The brains of the democrats want all living together in mass like herded cattle and sheep for use by the dictators and socialist leaders. Good example of this is Maduro, NK, and in c*******t China. Behind those glittering landmarks are people herded with limited freedom but to be used for domestic bondage.

Bernie Sanders, AOC, and the rest of those democrats in Congress, and potential candidates are wanting this style of government. It is socialism and finally ends up c*******m. These candidates have no shame. Blabbing, lying, deceiving the people with luxuries and free everything only to end up nothing at the end. But everything, ends up owned by the leaders, power, wealth, and lifetime living in luxury, in control of the people like s***es as if they own them.

While the c*******t or socialist leaders live in mansions and luxury lifestyle served by their myriads of people herded inside a compound to work for them.

You are not allowed to worship God, or god of your choice. Because the socialist and c*******t leader requires the people to worship them instead. Notice that all c*******t countries are not Christians. Those who are hid themselves, but when found out are persecuted.

Another example of this are those people living in a theocratic government.
Their religion is the government itself, and all behavior are controlled by their beliefs. Deviation from this is a death punishment along with those so called infidels. They all k**l them as ordered by their god, and the Mullahs commandment. Example of this is Iran.

That is why there are hundreds of thousands in Iran protesting, but when caught are persecuted, and many are k**led in secret.
