This guy will go down as the best President ever.....just by his immense number of accomplishments. the numbers aren't great, they're fantastic And you don't know of a politician who could even come close. What happened??? did our President take away the little boy's food stamps???? You didn't get a big windfall from the tax reform? Better load up on "hot cocoa" and find your safe space and everything else the L*****t morons do when you get your ass handed to you like on November 3rd. Not happy with the black unemployment numbers setting new records???? Boy, you will never be happy. Hey, someday you' ll have another Dem president in the distant future but he won't be black.

I keep hearing the advice from the center to the left NOT to keep calling Trump supporters stupid because it's "not helpful". LOL.

It's hard though isn't it? For those of us who have to work for a living and who can see what Trump is actually doing we KNOW it would be stupid to ignore the detriment he is to the working class. So that's why we call those who do ignore it, "stupid". It doesn't mean we think WE are especially smart, it just means we think those other people are especially NOT smart.

To be honest though, I think a lot of them are just as intelligent as anyone else, but they are sucked into an emotional outrage manufactured by partisan influencers that eclipses their rationality. So it's not that they're stupid it's just that the connection between their intelligence and the political dialog is turned off because outrage is taking over that conversation.

I've seen this happen on the left too and I often argue that the real difference between people is moderate vs extreme, not right vs left. But at this point in history we have a career conman for a president who is applying his experience with overriding a person's rationality with emotion to the office and he has very clearly chosen the extreme right as his mark.

So, if the Trump-supporters aren't actually stupid people, they are certainly responding to the current political climate as if they are.

There have been programs to help the poor for more years than I have been on this planet (70+). The programs are designed to give them a hand up not to continue with hand outs. Many of those “wealthy” people do lots of philanthropical work and don’t want recognition for it. Without those wealthy corporations hiring people where would we be? Do you have a problem with athletes making millions to play games?
I know I do but that’s life.
I have met lots of people during my working years that were drawing some sort of assistance, mostly unmotivated and not the first generation on assistance. I have worked in the grocery industry, communications and law enforcement. My ex-mother-in-law had 7 children with 3 different fathers and wasn’t hurting for food, in fact she downed her 6 pack of Coors on a daily basis and encouraged her children to apply for welfare.
Socialism is the first step of enabling those that aren’t motivated to change their life, choices!
Oh and by the way your insinuation of me being a r****t is hysterical. I guess back in the late 50’s (before equal housing) my family must have started the petition to keep ourselves out of a predominantly Anglo Saxon neighborhood and I used to call myself derogatory names at school.
I know and have seen and experienced r****m. Have you? Perhaps during the years of affirmative action.
