This reminds me of a scenario many years ago in Florida, where the Sheriffs Dept. and Federal Marshals sent out notices to families of fugitives, announcing that the fugitives had won expense paid luxury vacations for themselves and family, knowing that the families would contact the fugitives. The fugitives had to claim their prize in person..............................the fugitives came in the front door....................and out the back door into a prison van.

They need drivers licenses for their jobs mostly. Most states that issue them have markers that limit what they can be used for.

As for the 'law enforcement' aspect, I find it curious that American citizens who hire i*****l a***ns seem unconcerned that they are breaking the law. Throw those law breakers into the hoosegow and the lure for most i*****l m*****ts would disappear. Just sayin'.

I agree with that. Shouldn’t the politicians who support sanctuary cities be thrown in jail?

Hard to believe the dems are against guns and our 2nd amendment rights but choice to give a loaded 3500 lb gun (the automobile) to people who can't drive, carry no insurance and will flee the scene of the crime.

I'm sorry if that confused you. CD implied that all one needed was a driver's license to v**e. Of course, all clear-thinking adults understand that there is much more than simply having a license to be able to v**e. That was my point and in the future, I will try to limit my rhetoric to that which is understandable by all who are limited in their comprehension ability. Thank you for the input.

First, we aren't against the second amendment and anytime you want to join a well-regulated m*****a as we had in 1776 you are free to do so and drill with the arms of the day. Second, the purpose of having everyone carry drivers licenses is to weed out those who lack the ability to drive a 3500 lb weapon as you pointed out.

I don't know about your state, but to renew a drivers licence in Oregon (for legal residents) a passport or birth certificate is demanded.

I******s are portrayed as victims, when in all actuality, they've hit the lotto, so to say.
