It allows them to drive legally... Which makes it easier for them to find work...

Also... A drivers license is picture ID...

What do people need picture IDs for???

You can get a driver's license at 16. Using your logic one can use the license to v**e at 16 too.

The only thing I see wrong with this is.........we had those little illegal beaners lined up and ready for deportation for hours.....and didn't swoop in and d**g them off kicking and screaming

The point was made the other day (when discussing how China deported several thousand illegal teachers who are a major industry over here) that the law is the law... And it is self-destructive not to enforce it...

I don't have the facts about legal or why, but here in South Florida
there are people driving who can't operate a toilet, let alone a car. Third-world immigrants
( God help me, I said it...) who DON'T HAVE INSURANCE , will crash into you, and will continue to drive while YOU are in a wheelchair.
It's like giving a child a loaded gun,and turning him loose at the playground.
