Well if you're not willing to break the law and enter a restricted area I'd forget about it. I was thinking about a dirt bike dash to the hollow rock and back. Or you could find out who has the authority to give you a pass to the area and a supervised escort. He might say yes. You just never know. As long as it isn't in a sensitive area and you're escorted. Just tell him you think it may be a prehistoric cave and it may have wall paintings and you're willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement if you can take pictures or record it. Sometimes you bump into good government guys who are just as curious as we are. Offer to wait until he's done for the day and take him to the sight personally and if he has any expert archeologists or rock hounds on-site bring them along to record the site and get their input.

I think the dirt bike Dash might be out of the question cuz it's a 75 miles or so and I'm allergic to mini guns. But that idea of making a formal contact with the installation Commander along with the big chief of the Hopi Indian tribe who I believe is in charge of the whole damn West and invite him along with the elders something like that could happen. But some years ago when I was looking around in that area there was a string of buildings along the mountain range with the bombing range out in front probably so they could watch and carefully observe different types of Ordnance being used out in the desert. Our job was to build a road to miles long at 90 degrees to the Trunk Road that ran through the desert away from the mountains so they would have a place to put buses and trucks and whatnot and blow the s**t out of it. We had to build the road 6 feet above the desert floor cuz when the desert would flood it would be from almost from Horizon 2 Horizon looking North and South and it was about 30 miles to the next mountain range looking to the West. That's looking from Grassy Mountain to the West. I believe it is a very sensitive area now because there were no buildings there at all in that part of the desert outside of the road we built. But if I tell you pee wee if you saw this thing you'd be like out of your mind. Yes I believe it is prehistoric like you mentioned it was probably there during the last ice age and I would bet you $100 that there are cave paintings in that domed Rock. It's not a high Dome but a lot of the rock is buried in the rubble rock around it. There's a very good chance it's already been found by the engineers who may have built in the area. If I was to make an effort I would have to contact the installation Commander at Hill Air Force Base and he in turn would have to contact the installation Commander over at dulsac. Otherwise known as Disney World 52. If you know what I mean. Oh and just fell off the hook question do they call you pee wee because you're six and a half feet tall swinging a bucket of balls and they call you boy? Just kidding even a little guy can cast a big shadow. I am going to dig up those pictures and I might even have a picture or two showing that slope of the mountain where that hollowed-out cave is located more or less. Yep that was my first deployment May 1980 102nd civil engineering squadron. I was a heavy equipment operator and loved it.

Oh Pee Wee by the way I am currently going through a minor crisis I got hurt at work I injured my neck and I got word back from the MRI people who reported to my doctor that I've got issues in my neck as a result of swinging a machete in the upward motion cutting branches over my head and would the head looking up straining and Swinging the right arm I managed to screw things up in my neck and pinched nerves and I've lost a lot of the use of my right hand so I may have to go into some sort of surgical procedure to get things straightened out. I'm going to be on workers compensation for a while and then after that I am headed for Social Security disability. And that is a given by the looks of things. Maybe after the winter is over you and I can take a ride out west take a look at things. Maybe we can visit Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon. Hell maybe we can have a pissing contest! Maybe even a sword fight as long as it's safe to cross the streams! Talk to you later bro

I hope some of my suggestions bear fruit. I have lots of nicknames, ha, some fit and some don't. I'm 5'6", but there are some big and tall persons in the immediate family. One 6'7", one 6'2", three 5'10, me, and a 5'2" mom. Some of my names are Michelin Tire Man, half-pint, stump, and Pillsbury Dough Boy and I can be crusty and used to be pretty tough, now I'm just an over the hill old fart. Good luck with Hill and the Hopi's. Tom Horn and SkyWatch TV, he has had cooperation from the Hopi's in the past. L. A. Marzulli might be another good source and could possibly offer some assistance. Steve Quayle and Tim Alberino do a lot of investigations too. They all have web sites and Youtube channels you might enjoy. At least you will know who you are talking to and what they look like and get a feel on how to approach them. Keep me posted and best wishes on your success. I love this kind of stuff.

I'll do some research that won't be today but I'll contact the installation Commander probably by letter and have to be patient with a response because he's not my uncle. And look into the possibility of getting clearance to go out to Disneyland 52 with the Hopi chief to inspect and research. Hey Pee Wee you have a excellent holiday season and will be in touch with you.

Just to give you a rough idea for local. Basically right in the middle of the picture in that great big wide open expanse. Good hunting.
