Why the house must impeach Trump even if the Senate won’t convict him.

He could care less about that kind of stuff as long as they get rid of Trump and allow the democrats to regain power. Actually getting something done is irrelevant.

Impeachment (in Congress or a state legislature) is the presentation of formal charges against a public official by the lower house. Once the House of Representatives holds a v**e of impeachment and it carries (majority v**es "yes"), then Trump will be officially "impeached". That's all it is - a charge of high crimes and misdemeanors where articles of impeachment are filed with the Senate. Then the charge moves to trial in the Senate, with the Chief Justice of the Supreme court as Judge, and the Senate as jury. If the Senate v**es on the charge and it carries - then Trump will be convicted. It is at that point that he would be removed from office. That is the highest this can go...since the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is already involved, it cannot be appealed to the Supreme Court.

Kevyn seems to think Trump is going to jail and thinks Impeachment means he can never be pardoned for that. Unless I miss everything, nothing Kevyn says is right.
