The text sequence between Sondland and Taylor says it all as pertains to when Trump said his meaningless no quid pro quo statement. It was after Taylor hammered Sondland, he talked to Trump and trump told him to tell Taylor there was no quid pro quo.

well that changes things... someone who is as honest as trump wouldn't say that if it wasn't so.

This is a moronic defense and does not hold up to a sequenced set of text communications that put it in context. People aren't stupid enough to buy this ....are they?

This was a moronic practice in the first place. They’re grasping at straws.

Some are stupid enough to believe everthing they read and every spin on their ELWNJ sites. That is because that is what they want to believe.

If you're a consumer of right wing news, you've been spun. John Solomon started so much of this bs and had gullible folks swallow his bs right up to giuliani and drumph. Not very bright folks at the helm.

Trump made his statement of "no quid pro quo" after the Whistleblower made their statement. So knew that quid pro quo would be an issue so he told everyone to say there was no quid pro quo even though everyone knew that there was. What's more, the Ukrainians knew of the hold as early as May so everyone was lying to protect Donald J Trump...

Fox News is dedicated to giving news that conservatives want to hear. Mainstream news has a diverse listening audience so they can't present news dedicated to one ideology else they would have been out of business long ago. The exception, of course, is MSNBC and CNN which have to compete with Fox directly so present an opinion based news program the same as Fox News.

You don't find that journalistic standards have fallen over the years?

If you are looking at cable news yes--but that's because everyone is trying to keep up with Fox News. Even the worst of mainstream new though is ahead of Fox News so there is no reason to change their standards to keep up. If you think that isn't the case then give some examples of how it isn't so.

I find that all news sources are suspect...
Try to read stories from multiple sources...
Living in China helps with that...
When you know you're not being told rings you tend to work harder to find out what you're missing...

I find more and more bias in the media these days...
