Although President Trump is the focus of all this h**e, the true target is the Americans who v**ed for him. Remember at first a mention of a "deep state" was met with derision and contempt. Then as more and more evidence surfaced of unelected bureaucrats and Obama appointees and operatives (t***hfully it was happening long before Obama, he was just blatant and prolific,) interfering with and undermining policies they disagreed with, then the "new narrative" is oh yes there IS a "deep state" and THEY are looking out for the best interests of the country. When v**ers make a mistake, we can count on these unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats to correct it. Well, no thanks. All these witnesses Schiff is parading in front of the cameras are deep state operatives that are enraged that an ELECTED Chief Executive has dared not do what THEY think should be done. These arrogant, contemptuous bureaucrats want the American people to see what happens if they try to reign in what they consider is THEIR power.
